Secret Service Intimidates Private Citizen for Obama
Posted by Jessica Hughes on Friday, October 03, 2008 2:35:01 PM

On Wednesday the 1st of October I received a call on my cell while in the car with my husband. It was a woman who identified herself as calling from the Obama Campaign. The phone # she called from was 903-798-6020 which lists as "Obama Volunteers of Texarkana" (Texas).

She asked if I was an Obama supporter to which I replied:

"No, I don't support him, your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the State Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time." I hung up.

Thursday, October 2, I answered the front door to find the Secret Service. Immediately I thought of the call and was furious that apparently you are not allowed to call Obama a Socialist without the Secret Service coming to investigate. Instead, they asked me about the following comment, relayed by the Obama Volunteer of Texarkana who called me, unsolicited on my cell phone:

"I will never support Obama and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor."

My husband laughed and told them “No, she called him a socialist but she never said a word about him dying.â€

I've worked with the Secret Service and this article sounds suspect.

If it is true, I believe the agents were out of line with some of the comments.

However, it is the job of the Secret Service to investigate such allegations and they have certain legal powers as other law enforcement offers have.

I would advise anyone who gets a house call from the Secret Service (which is a 1 in 500,000 chance) to contact your attorney immediately before you say a word.

I understand if this story is accurate, which I have my doubts, a citizen would be quite angry. But don't let your anger and loose tonge get you in more trouble. These agents don't know if you're crazy or not. They only know a threat was reported. Let your attorney do your talking for you.

I think that explains a lot about Obama's lead in the polls. People are intimidated and I know a lot of people are simply lying to the pollsters.

In every election, around this time, the democrat has been ahead. Carter was 10-15 points ahead. McGovern around 20. The media is doing a lot of PUSH polls to discourage Republicans. Obama has threaten people in Missouri, with prosecution, about smears and negative comments. The Governor has come out and condemned his actions.

These tactics should terrify people and what will happen if he's President? Will people not be allowed to criticize him??????????????

    Steve,
I read a similar story about the incident in a Texas newspaper yesterday, I'll try and find it.

This kind of thing reeks of absolute socialism, if not almost communism.

However, I have noticed so much on the news lately about corruption being brought out, and with Obama's connection with some of that, one has to wonder if he and his big time supporters are just getting anxious about getting into power, so they are using lies and all sorts of tactics to bash anyone who supports someone else, so they can make up lies about potential McCain/Palin, or third party supporters being radicals and nut cases.

It is getting dirtier than I can recall it being, maybe ever in my adult life.

Although the story seems "out there" as almost hard to believe something like this could even possibly happen in our nation, yet, I would have to believe making up a story like this is even less likely, as this person would have to face some heavy authorities for doing so.

Folks, I am aware of a situation that happened to some of my allies in California. This handful of anti-illegal immigration activisits were just carrying American flags and some posters.

Well, someone drove by and didn't like what they were doing. So they called the cops and told them that the "protestors" had a gun.

Before you know it, the police arrived and searched everyone and their vehicles looking for a gun.

This is a similar situation here.

These liars are so vile they will stoop to any level to shut any opposition down.

In the case above, the victimited activists wanted the name of the person who said they had a gun (but didn't) but the police offier would not give it to them.

Because the call was fraudulent and the protestors did no wrong, they were not charged, therefore the officer said they had no right to the name of the person who said they had a gun.
