Thread: I live for Lou Dobbs!

Imagine my disappointment when nothing (zippo, none, nota) was on his show regarding illegal immigration tonight. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm getting tired of seeing the Israel situation 24/7 on every cable news channel. I know last week, or the week before, Lou went two consecutive days without any illegal immigration news. Is it getting harder for them to come up with newsworthy information on the topic or are they attempting to slowely ween us from our fixation?

Well, I'll see what happens tomorrow night. If there is nothing then, I'll send CNN another email informing them of why I watch Lou Dobbs. Hope the rest of you will join me if it becomes necessary.

Lou doesn't seem to appear on Fridays anyway so I wouldn't be too concerned. He is passionate about his 'broken borders' subject. I wouldn't worry.

Oops, I forgot he is not on during the weekend. Okay, I'll wait until Monday to see what happens.

Every day I come home from work, say hi to the kids and honey, plop down on the couch just in time to hear my buddy Lou. Lou Dobbs is a great American. He'll ask the questions that no one else will.

I, too, am tired of seeing 24/7 Israel/Lebanon war news.

I wonder what would happen if all countries stayed out of the Mideast's business, no aid, no advice, no nothing, and see what would happen, they'd either have to settle it themselves or battle to the end.

Also fed up with countries calling on the USA to help them one way or another, then they damn us whether we do or not!

I tivo Lou. Then after the kids are in bed I fast forward all the other stuff; only watch Broken Border reports and usually anything about the middle class.

So yes, last night's show I finished ff in about 2 minutes or less. I miss it. When I see how disgusted he is with all this, his right on comments -I just feel so good!

Interestingly, I was watching CSPAN yesterday and a Democrat had a bill on the Senate floor to add $200 million to the $30 million we are already giving Lebanon and Israel for relief. Fortunately, a "point of order" was called on the bill and it was dismissed. It appears the money is suppose to come out of a specific fund, which there is supposedly a lot of money still available in the fund. This doesn't mean Lebanon and Israel won't get the extra $170 million, it just means money is provided elsewhere to cover it. Guess what folks, those monies are our tax dollars. Isn't it great how free Congress is with our money, especially when they won't even fund the money necessary to take care of our illegal immigration problem.

Everytime I write a Rep. about illegal aliens I always throw in, about the jobs we are losing and our tax dollars given willy nilly to foreign countries!

We ought to have more say over our money, Washington just takes and takes and does whatever they want.

I wonder why Lou Dobbs does not run for president, this is what we need.
