Has anyone heard of this organization, it looks like Sen. Frist is behind it. The VOLPAC site is down.

I believe it's the Frist organization that put out the recent questionaire on immigration.

took the survey and answered all but the last question - I believe that DHS is not the solution and is in fact part of the problem and they should not be funded

if anything they should be abolished

I think I remember this one too but I did it again. I think this is Frist's putting out feelers for what he's going to run on in 2008. I don't in any way believe that he wants to do anything different from Bush about the problem. He's searching for a hot-button issue to base a campaign for the Presidency on and he knows this is about as HOT-BUTTON as you can get. I'm not deceived by his RECENT change in position about the border.

What makes me nervous is the repeated stament "immigration policy should be reformed". Our policy in my opinion doesn't need to be reformed, it just needs to be ENFORCED. I have the image of amnesty when I read his text. But this is a good sign perhaps, now we just need to see what his voting record will be.

I TRULY believe it's just a political ploy to open a path for a run in 2008. He has continuously supported Bush's proposal until just the last couple of months and I find that suspect. I hope I'm wrong.
