Illegal Immigration Taking Our Jobs

There are simple solutions to the problems in our economy, but because of our campaign finance system, which is legalized bribery and extortion, they're pushed aside and ignored. One of them is the problem of unemployment and one of its causes, illegal immigration! Neither the Democrats nor Republicans will enforce the real solution to the problem: Mandatory verification for employment, voter registration and social benefits. Democrats like illegal immigrants for their votes, and Republicans for their cheap labor.

Meanwhile, in their coordinated "race to the bottom new world order," the middle class is being destroyed!

Yes, there is presently e-verification, but it's only voluntary, and at least 5 million jobs, rightfully belonging to U.S. citizens, are taken by illegal immigrants. There are 15 million U.S. citizens presently unemployed, and if these jobs were returned to their rightful employees, our unemployment rate would shrink to around 6 percent, our economy would improve and illegal immigrants would go home and stop coming!

Today, I watched CSPAN's Washington Journal. People called in to report illegal immigrants taking their jobs, standing on street corners for cheap day-labor construction jobs. Even minimum wage jobs like fast food places are requiring speaking Spanish!

Jane Oates, assistant secretary for labor employment, just sat there and made light of these callers saying, "These illegal immigrants may be working under false Social Security numbers, but they will never collect benefits." Oh really? I'm sure we could get someone from India or China to do her job at half the wages and benefits!
