Against illegal immigration yet you dont hate hispanics?

Right now the hispanic community is being polarized by groups within our own society. Yes the cartels and even the Mexican Gov't. Basically they are brainwashing these people into believing that the US government is out to get them because the color of their skin. EVEN when the our government is providing more and more opportunities for people of hispanic origin.
Doesn't it seem like when anytime an anti-immigration bill passes you see hispanic people protesting whether or not its for the common good? In conjecture, we could have thousands of terrorists attacking the US everyday and I guarantee they would protest securing our borders. They influence people within the community that the only reason why such legislature passes is purely a racist motive when clearly immigration is out of control and poses many serious threats rather than a bunch of brown skinned people.
With so much white guilt (white people trying making up for things that happened in the past) its a great opportunity for hispanic or rather mexican groups to pass this influence even to the average american.
So many people of hispanic origin have fought for our country and I love them for it. However, there is strong propaganda that is truly polarizing the US latin community and ripping this country in half. What do you think?

    Welcome to ALIPAC, skippiks!

I agree with your post that the opposition to illegal immigration has nothing at all to do with anyone's race, ethnic origin or the language of their ancestors. And Americans of Latino and Hispanic descent need to understad that they've been lied to by the open borders lobby who chose decades ago to use a phony race card in an attempt to intimidate Americans against speaking out about illegal immigration because so many of the illegal aliens were from Mexico and South America. But it didn't work in the end. The truth is clear to anyone who will open their eyes to see it. Our country is overpopulated, on the verge of becoming a third world banana republic because of illegal immigration. We can't afford it, we can't sustain it, and the weight of the burden is already destroying our nation, a burden we should have never been asked or forced to bear and one which except for a few globalist elites, we all bear no matter what our race, ethnic origin or language of our ancestors may be.

We all have to unite to stop the ravages of illegal immigration.

i think there's a divide in the hispanic community between people who's interests are at stake and those who are not ....

we have LOTS of anchor babies in this country , so of course they will protest to legalize the rest of their families , we also have lots of illegal hispanic immgrants and some of them will protest as well ..

but as for hispanic americans who were born here and there parents were born here , i don't think they generally feel as the rest of society does ..

It has been my experience that far too many Hispanic Americans do sympathize with these illegals though. I know several whose parents were born here and so were they and their children. Yet they get hostile if you even suggest that these illegals should be sent home and not granted amnesty. They look at you like you are a heartless racist. I don't understand why they put their ethnic group above the laws of the country that they and their families have been a part of for generations. It makes me fear the day that they ever become the majority in this country.

What I have seen in South Florida is interesting. Most of those who immigrated here legally are against illegals. Cubans are different depending on when they or their parents immigrated here and how they got here. Most of those who came pre 1980's are against it as they did not have all the breaks and immigrated here like most legal immigrants. The 1980's and on crowd mostly look at it as they are fellow Hispanics and will tell other Hispanics off if they are against illegals. You see it in the comment in the Miami Herald after they print the sob stories about illegals. If you went through what my family did and had it rough in one case then you will never side with any illegal from the country you came from let alone any other.

The Hispanic Americans I am referring to are those of Mexican ancestry. Cuban Americans are a whole different breed due to how they came to the U.S. It is true that those of Mexican ancestry in particular who are pro-illegal think that any Hispanic who don't tow the raza line are "coconuts" or "vendidos".

It really puzzles me how the hispanic community directs their blame and anger toward White Americans in particular. I have spoken to many African Americans who are more resentful toward hispanic immigrants than most whites that I know. It is not just White Americans who are tired, it is AMERICANS period. Heck, Iread an article not long ago that said that even the native born hispanics are growing tired of it.

In addition, they want to compare themselves to the African Americans who fought for civil rights when most African Americans also want them to go home. How the heck can some people who force their way into a country of people who don't want them there compare themselves to a group of Americans who are here because a gazzilion years ago their ancestors were bought overs seas and brought here against their will? Still just puzzles me....

I work with a Mexican man who is the same way. He thinks our borders need to be controled because of the threat of terrorism and narcos, but sympathizes with illegals because his father was one. I always remind him that you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Blacks have been Americans since the Birth of America, there is no comparison. And Hispanic Americans feel this strain just the same as anyone else, the difference is half the people they know are here illegally, so they are unable to speak out for fear of retaliation. They are the silent victims in this intrusion. They can't "GO AGAINST,THE FAMILIA"

I think that closer to the truth is that most are actually advocates of their illegal brethern. I think those Hispanics opposed to this invasion are among the minority in their group. It is very unfortunate IMO that so many put ethnic connection above their loyalty to this country.
