(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, says he supports President Trump's attempt to force Mexico to stop Central Americans from pouring into the United States.
"President Trump is right to do whatever is necessary to stop the disaster at the border," Graham told Fox News's Sean Hannity Monday night.
"It's not a crisis. It's a complete disaster. And Mexico can do better. They should do better. And I support the president in any way possible to get Mexico to do better, and I'm going to have a vote on my bill to close the asylum loophole and the unaccompanied minors in two weeks."

As CNSNews.com previously reported, Graham's bill, The Secure and Protect Act of 2019, would require Central Americans seeking asylum to apply at the U.S. embassy or consulate in their home country or at refugee processing centers within Mexico.
The bill also would allow U.S. authorities to send unaccompanied minors from Central American back to their home country, the same way Mexicans are treated.
It also extends the amount of time that illegal immigrant families with minor children are detained to 100 days. And it allow for the hiring of 500 new immigration judges to reduce the backlog of asylum cases.

On a separate topic, Graham told Hannity that he will examine the soon-to-be-released IG report on FISA warrants "to see if we need to change our laws."
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is expect to release his report on the Carter Page FISA warrant this month.
"My job is to have oversight to change the laws to protect the country from abuse in the future," Graham said. He noted that the U.S. attorney in Connecticut John Durham is looking at criminality, while Attorney General William Barr is overseeing all of it.
"We're going get to the bottom of it for the good of the country. At the end of the day, you can't have people enforcing the law taking it into their own hands for political purposes."

SURE HOPE THIS THING GOES DOWN IN DEFEAT!!!!! Call your Democratic Senators and DEMAND THEY VOTE "NO" on it. Tell them it's UNFAIR to the IMMIGRANTS!!!!!

This garbage bill will get merged with the Amnesty DACA bill and then the ENFORCEMENT PROVISIONS won't be ENFORCED NOR FUNDED, but the DACA will be implemented FULL SPEED AHEAD and it will be 3 million or more legalized instead of the advertised 2 million because of fraud, etc. and then we have the family reunification which will results in MILLIONS MORE. I'm praying they can't get 60 votes on this thing and it goes down.
