ARTICLE SYNOPSIS:

Nancy Schaefer, a state Senator from Georgia, met with opponents of the North American Union and agrees that there is cause for great concern.

COMMENTARY:

Following the November elections, State Senator Nancy Schaefer was invited to attend a meeting to discuss "issues of state and national concern" by Phyllis Schlafly, president of the Eagle Forum. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Bush's stealth plan to implement the North American Union.

Jerome Corsi also attended each day of the week-long meetings along with representatives from several other states.

Writing an account of her meetings with Schlafly, Schaefer wrote:

We were immediately briefed on the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, also known as "The North American Union." Awareness of the SPP varied within the group, but upon learning the actual steps taken by the federal government to steer the United States into a compromising regional government much like the European Union, the issue was immediately made clear and alarming.

She then continued:

It is important to remind Americans that our country was created by the states. Our nation's founders created the federal system with limited powers so the government "of the people, by the people and for the people" would keep America powerful and productive. That is why a compromising agreement such as the SPP/North American Union between the U.S., Mexico and Canada must be blocked. America would never be the same.

This alarming news should wake up even the most lethargic among us! If the NAU becomes reality the United States of America, as we know it today, would not exist!

Kudos to Nancy Schaefer, Phyllis Schlafly [2], Jerome Corsi [3], Lou Dobbs [4], Reps. Virgil Goode, Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and Walter Jones [5], along with all the others out there who – like the John Birch Society [6] – are fighting to protect the sovereignty of our great nation by opposing the North American Union!

how do you get word out? i have mentioned it to serveral and they look at me like i have 3 eyes. one person said that is so rediculous i must of gotten that off the internet, every one on the net is crazy (she is a grade school teacher).

Tell her to do a minimal amount of research or call these Senators office
It is in plan view..unless she walks around with her eyes wide shut!

Excellent and this why you are a TITAN around these parts...Rock on!

I've mentioned this North American Union thing to a number of people and nobody seems to have heard of it and they actually don't really care about it anyway. I just don't understand why people are not absolutely shocked that Bush could do this to us.

i have even printed out her senators & rep s phone numbers, she says she is to busy.

Well, we are all too busy! I guess you can't make truly apathetic people care - until it is too late and then all they will do is complain. But, we have the opportunity to stop this now. Perhaps you can describe the upshot of a NAU to her.......and add some of your own......

The loss of the United states as we know it, and all changes will be for the worse-

* open borders with Mexico and Canada - flood of third world workers to take jobs from Americans, and who can live anywhere on the continent that they want

* depression of US wages

* astronomical crime rate

* increase in taxes for US citizens to pay for increased infrastructure, SS, etc

* eventual push for a NA parliament to supplant US government soverignty, with loss of freedoms that have been guaranteed for > 200 years by our constitution

* unstoppable smuggling of people and drugs and possibly even WMDs via the NAFTA superhighway

* Mexican truck drivers will have free reign to drive trucks (and smuggle) anywhere

* our social security will go to Mexicans and Canadians

* huge loss of US private property from eminent domain for the Superhighway

* 8 superhighways 4 football fields across criss-crossing through this country, and all of them toll roads, and these roads will be owned by foreign countries, not by the US

* inland ports will be designated, such as in Kansas City MO, and these will be given to Mexico as their soverign territory

* Complete loss of any remaining national security, as we would have to rely on Mexico to secure their outer perimeter of the continent - right!!

* loss of tremendous areas of natural space and farm lands
