Send faxes Against Bush/Kennedy Amnesty
Alert! Big push for amnesty by Bush and Kennedy.
Contact your Senators now!
Proponents have launched an enormous drive for amnesty in Washington. With a new Democratic Congress and a supportive Republican President, advocates of open borders feel they can push through an amnesty in 2007—before the election next year highlights voter opposition to the proposal.
You can see what we are up against by watching this YouTube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPDZTRoPjrk
Amnesty supporters know they do not have public support so they will try to move the bill quickly before opposition can build. Consider calling your Senators' local or Washington office along with sending a fax expressing your opposition. Let them know that allowing illegal aliens to stay in the country is an amnesty, even if they call it "earned citizenship" or some other euphemism.
ACTION NEEDED
Please tell your Senators to oppose this amnesty proposal, regardless of what they call it. Send a fax or e-mail by clicking "Go!" below. You might also want to call your Senators through the Congressional Switchboard at 202-224-3121.

Sorry, and thanks, Dixie.
Sounds like now is the time to rev up those faxes.
She (Rosemary from NumbersUSA) heard them say that the push for an amnesty was bogging down until a few weeks ago when they were able to start convincing people that the momentum was in their direction and that passage was likely this year.

Done! Sent Feinstein and Boxer faxes.
This is what I composed for their edification.
This is a poll from San Diego.com.
Americans are reaching for the reins to take back control of their future.
If you consider the "Will of the People" important this is our stance.
What should be done about illegal immigrants living in California?
Choice Votes Percentage of 1247 Votes
A blanket amnesty 35 3%
A program letting those who have worked here for years stay and apply for citizenship 279 22%
Deport them 921 74%
Not sure 12 1%

If 74% in San Diego says, deport them, the rest of the country is even more determined to send illegal migrants, home.
Why should immigrants of any status respect us or our beloved Nation when we don’t respect ourselves enough to stand up for our own Nation’s sovereignty, unity and security?
We don't need new laws, we need enforcement of our current laws.
