Another option to avoid tranqulizers would be to buy a seeing eye dog. Each time you leave your house, tie a bandana around your head to cover your eyes, put some cotton in your ears and then cover them with winter ear muffs. Go out and do whatever you have to do, and you will find yourself to be more calm.

It works best if you avoid all contact with the outside world especially TV's and computers and radios when you are home.

Read some books that you like, but avoid all non-fiction books.

Go to bed early and eat lots of bananas.

Might have to take your advice Legal, as I live in Boston and there are many illegals here. Have to find a way to calm myself, yet stay in tune with what is going on.
