Tom Tancredo says the same thing. He's not for deportation. He's for attrition through enforcement of existing laws. When employers are fined and there are no jobs for illegals, they will go home.

Didn't you intend on saying illegal immigrants vice Mexicans? This is an illegal immigrant issue, not a Mexican one.
with jorge shoving nau down our throats, unfortunately it is becoming a 'mexican' issue. but the shamnesty involves anyone in this country illegally... including educated visa holders who have decided to over stay their welcome. we need to protect our language, our culture, our jobs and our country!

Take away the incentives and they will leave. Internal Enforcement is the best tool for these people to go home, but this will not be enough. We must get tough with Mexico and force them to change their economic policies or face sanctions. Nafta has destroyed the Mexican working class and must be abolished. The Mexican people must be forced to deal with the problems of the own country and force change. Mexico has been a country long before the U.S. with vast amounts of Natural Resourses. there is no reason for mexico to be in the shape it is in. It is time for the Mexican people to grow up and take responsibilty for their own problems instead of blaming their problems on everybody else.

I listened to Sessions right after I saw another clip of President Bush at a fundraiser for Sessions in which $1 million was supposedly raised for Sessions (I did catch only part of it but this is what I heard).

As you can imagine it made me wonder what was going on.

Self Deportation is what Sessions has in mind!
This is the answer. However, since Senor Bush wants to cater to corporate elites and create plenty of cheap labor and since the Dems are trying to create a new voter base we return to this cat and dog fight.

It would take very little effort to solve this entire problem if only the will was there by those who can solve it. No one would be deported by force. The problem can be solved with the laws we presently have on the books. Americans would be satisfied and people would come to our country the right way.

And Senor Bush would not have rock bottom approval ratings and a bunch of senators would not be about to be booted out of office in 2008 and 2010.

I do think attrition by enforcing the laws, deporting criminals and requiring businesses to stop employing illegals will truly work. I think we all realistically know that we can't deport them all at once, but we certainly can start deporting them one by one once all the laws are enforced!!

Further evidence that conservatives are fundamentally unreliable. Even the best of them wimp out in the end.
