Thread: Sessions On Report That All Gang Of Eight Senators Coordinating In Secret To Defeat A

If this bill is suppose to be wanted by so many Americans, why not let us vote on it. Couldn't be no worse than these guys trying to stack the votes in their favor. But Americans will remember and will still be voting. The immigrants only vote when things pertain to them.

The National Journal reports today that ‘The night before Thursday's marathon committee markup, members of the Senate's Gang of Eight and their staffs huddled in a room in the Capitol to decide what amendments to their immigration bill they would let live—and what must die… Each evening, the gang will reconvene before the Judiciary Committee meets to analyze the next day’s slew of amendments and decide, collectively, what stays and what goes.’
Sounds like they think they are in control.

What? You mean a democratic vote by the people on a crucial issue that affects their future and the future of their kids? Letting people vote on this would mean enforcement of immigration laws and (gasp!) border security. Silly you.
