Illegal aliens who scheme to have anchor babies born in America just to avoid justice (through deportation) are among the most despicable criminals in our midst.

Only Democrat and RINO politicians are less honorable.

By callously manipulating infants for personal gain, illegal aliens clearly lack the moral values and judgment essential to being good Americans. Unless one is planning on becoming a Democrat politician, that is!

Moreover, the presence of anchor babies gives weak-minded knot heads who favor open borders and non-enforcement of immigration laws a lame excuse for doing nothing.

Again, infants are manipulated for political purposes by those who scream "We cannot split families," when arguing against deportation.

However, that argument is embarrassingly specious.

To begin with, illegal aliens willfully abandon family when they leave their nation of origin, usually Mexico, in order to invade America!

Apparently, "Family" is trumped by dinero when deciding whether or not to jump a fence to pursue the mother lode, AKA free public services, in America!

Secondly, deportation decisions cannot be based on whether or not the offending criminal has a family.

Consider a parallel: Illegal aliens are like bank robbers--they steal property belonging to others.

However, when an American citizen is found guilty of robbing a bank, does the presiding judge decide against prison because of concern about separating the criminal from family?

Of course not!

Criminals are criminals, and should be dealt with according to the law, especially when it comes to illegal aliens.

Third: Who says that the illegal alien family has to be split?

For illegal aliens with children under 18, it should be mandatory that the entire family be deported!

In fact, because they are the most burdensome to American taxpayers, deporting such families should be the greatest priority of our federal government.

In other words, Pancho, get the hell out and take your moochachoo brats with you!

Finally, instead of trying to rip-off the government with demands for lavish air travel, Speaker Pelosi (God, that still sounds vile!) should work with other twinkies like Senator Harry Reid to close the anchor baby loophole with respect to children of illegal aliens.

But perhaps that is asking too much?

After all, folks like Pelosi see anchor babies as future voters. Democrat voters!

This has been used and ABUSED!!! They should not be considered citizens! They should be sent home with their illegal parents!

I agree under the premise that anchor minors are not entitled to full rights of an adult..like being able to buy a car, take out a loan, rent an apartment, start an account, buy a home, drink a beer, etc. Let them be deported in order to keep their families from being split up and make them fully welcomed to return with full citizenhsip once they are of age. This is so simple, why can't anyone think of this?

Another reason for illegals to birth-their-spawn here in the USA is the financial benefits the illegals will receive because their spawn was born in America, making the child a U.S. Citizen.

I'm embarassed to admit it, but I worked for DHS, FEMA, and I can't tell you how it pained me to watch the Federal tax dollars of 'victim assistance' going to families of illegals. This funding was provided because our Government has decided that "U.S. Citizens" should be provided for and the Government, as we know, makes no differentiation between the child of U.S. Citizens and the child born in America to illegal aliens.

The FEMA disaster assistance applications are written for the CHILD and the CHILD could receive up to the maximum of funding per disaster. That amounted to $25,600 per child, per illegal family, per disaster. Each year, the funding is increased due to cost of living adjustments.

So anytime you see Jorge W. Bush declaring a Federal disaster in a State, know full-well that every illegal alien family who has US-born child will file for disaster assistance if they have been affected by the storm, hurricane, tornado, etc.

And remember -- that money is not calculated into the illegal alien's earnings or living wages, nor is it tracked by any bean-counter agency with regard to the illegal alien family income. So guess who gets the prize-money?!

As if all of this weren't enough, the REAL pisser was seeing all of the illegal information collected on each disaster application but not passed onward to DHS for prosecution of the illegal alien family. (What was DHS formed for? Wasn't information dissemination one of the proported reasons for the umbrella agency's creation?)

After some soul searching, I quit in 2005 and only look-back to whistle-blow.

If this guest workers program goes into effect and workers and their families can come in for 2 years, what is going to stop them from having an anchor baby in those 2 years? Will that anchor them or will they still be required to return home with their american born child?
I do not think those that formed this bill is really looking any further than the chamber of commerce and corporate america and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

dyehard, I myself would like to know the answer to that one. What if they have an anchor child while here? Will they be allowed to stay permanantly because of that? Any immigration reform bill needs to include the changing of the interpretation of the 14th Amendment so it ends the anchor baby scam.

The anchor baby is nothing more than a meal ticket for the ingrates. If the child goes with them, the checks and food stamps stop. We have been invaded by The Food Stamp Army.

I think that the interpretation of this amendment has been way to liberal. I don't think this was at all what it was intended for.

Alot of illegals come here and never intend to work. Some of them aren't married but have kids with other illegals they met here in America. I know of situation like this. The term "guest worker" is a joke!

That's why I call them "Pest Workers".
