Sign the 'Louie Gohmert for House Speaker' Petition!

Rep. Louie Gohmert has put forward his name for consideration as Speaker and hopes that together with a new Speaker we can fight for the ideals and principles that the voters demonstrated they wanted when they overwhelmingly elected a Republican Congress in November.

Dear Members of Congress,

The November elections gave Republicans control of the Senate and a historical majority in the House. With my vote I made it clear I want change. There have been numerous examples of problematic Republican leadership but I was hopeful our leaders got the voters’ message.

However, after the Speaker forced through the CRomnibus by passing it with Democratic votes and without time to read it, it is clear that we need new leadership.

By signing this petition I am affixing my name to say that it is time for principled, conservative leadership and urge you to vote for Representative Louie Gohmert for Speaker of MY House, the U.S. House of Representatives.

Who controls this PAC and this data they want to collect? You have to be careful about petitions because many are mining data that they trade and sell to third parties for big bucks. Thus, many people get bombarded with emails the never wanted and many stop accepting legitimate email alerts once burned.

Looks like people can uncheck the boxes for Send me email updates and Send me text messages.

If the organizers ignore the signers wishes, people can just route the emails to their Junk folder and block the text sending phone number.
