Sitting Out The Election??
Over the last few days I've read a lot of comments from people talking about sitting out the election if one candidate or another wins their party nomination.
Believe me, I do understand, and share in, the frustration, anxiety, and even discouragement at times. This mess cannot help but get to all of us after awhile.
But I have a question about sitting out the election if one doesn't like the outcome for nominations.
Would it not be better to write in a vote for someone else than to not vote at all?
My feeling is that I'd rather not give corruption the satisfaction of driving me away from the polls and if I decided not to vote I would always be wondering if my write in might have made a difference in the outcome.
