Ron Paul voted at least 2 times for Section 245(i) amnesty

He voted 7 times against allowing the U.S. military to aid in border enforcement.

    Sorry

I meant to post this as a reply in the thread about Ron Paul and amnesty.

Are those first two votes the ones that let relatively small groups get legalized who already were qualified, just without going back, as part of a bill with other enforcement in it?

As to the military, you really need to look at the whole bill. Just because a bill has one good thing doesn't mean you vote for it if other things are horrible.

Also, I have to think you really don't like him for some other reason because he is by far the most specific and stringent and consistent on this topic of any running. It isn't as if Tom Tancredo were running, as he did in 2007

Ron Paul supports giving illegals a path to citizenship. That's all I need to know.

Why do you say he's the most stringent and consistent on the topic of dealing with illegal immigrants? I don't think he has been very consistent and he certainly isn't the most stringent when it comes to securing our borders and interior enforcement.

You previously told me that you had read the Section 245(i) bills that Ron Paul voted for at least two times. I have asked you multiple times to provide a link to the webpage where you read the bill. You have yet to provide a response to that simple request.

NumbersUSA characterized the Section 245(i) bills as amnesty bills.

All of the pro-amnesty Democrats voted for that bill along with Ron Paul. Anti-illegal immigration champions like Lamar Smith voted against the Section 245(i) amnesties.

You also claimed that Ron Paul has said he would bring our troops home and put them on our borders. I'm also still waiting for a link to prove that assertion on your part.
