It's official, the Smithfield Packing plant in North Carolina has reached an agreement with the protesting workers that has enabled "all" employees to return to work beginning today. Yes, you heard me right, the illegal immigrants have been given their jobs back. Supposedly they will be given more time to correct the SSN issue.

This makes absolutely no sense, either they have a valid SSN or they don't. The illegals had already been given to time to correct the problem, but failed to do so. Why would it be any different now? My guess is they no longer have any interest in firing the illegal immigrants. The Smithfield plant decided greed was more important than the rule of law and principle!
