I was on Alipac with everyone watching C-span last night. It was great!
I'm so happy for us dragons5!
I just want them to leave a hole big enough for all the illegals to go back through before we seal it off.

Dont get too excited about the fence folks. It is a move designed to please you, but dont let it sway you.
Just got this in my email.
What do you think? Is this accurate?
Sir/Madam,
The Senate bill is for fencing for a mere 3%, or approximately 60 miles, of the nearly 2000 mile border!!!! And the cost is $4,000,000 per mile!!! That is right $4 million per mile!!! Now you just have to ask yourself a couple of questions here:
1. What good old boy game is being played so that some good old boy got a fat contract like that?? I could build another Great Wall for that much money!!
2. Why did the Mexican government have to approve the building of this fence?? If I am going to fence my acreage I sure as hell do not have to ask my neighbor to approve of it!!
3. Who pays for this monumental $2.4 billion boon dogal ?? The tax payers.
4. With the above in mind do you really consider this winning??Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I was on pins and needles till I finally heard the news.
I'm so glad they funded the fence as well!
I'm so glad the Mohawk carpet (RICO) case decision was upheld by the Supreme Court this week too!
Their going to sue alot more big companies who break the law. ICE is too slow to go after Tyson and other big companies. This has been a great week indeed for every American citizen!
We will take back our country come hell or highwater!

Ditto...I loved the email
and Friday night...C-span was Great.......
I keep laughing to myself...I can here someone asking "So what did you do Friday night"..." Oh I was at home watching C-span and it was Great."
Sad to say more folks were interested in Terrell Owens the Cowboys player then what the Senate was doing.Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

I was here on ALIPAC and got the news from ALIPAC. It was great in that it showed when we corner these rats they'll drop the cheese and run.
As to the email, William, and the claim that the border fence will cost $4 million a mile...I think that's based on some calculation using the 26 mile stretch in California that's costing $126 million. Can you find out where they got their per mile figure?
The fence is a good thing and send a strong message. The political value of the fence is the greatest value.
We still need a Wall of Americans to guard every single mile of the southern burder. A corps of 40,000 with 20 persons per mile for the 2000 miles of border whose job is simple: No One Crosses the US Border...Period...without Papers and Permission. All legal entrants cross at established Border Check Points...no one else gets through anywhere else.
This Wall would then be backed-up by Border Patrol and National Guard troops for difficult situations.
Cost? Approximately $2 Billion a year at $20 an hour (initial starting salary) plus benefits (health insurance, payroll taxes, paid vacation and sick leave) plus some equipment and gear.
We have the people who need the jobs who want to help our country solve this problem and who would do a great job securing our borders.
We need to pound this idea of a Wall of Americans ... civilians ... who do not need a great deal of training... not the years of training the Border Patrol requires. We could even promote the MinuteMen Civilian Defense Corps as the WALL and secure government support to fund it properly. They already have a system for screening; they already have experience in the field on the borders; and understand this problem as well or better than anyone.

I don't care how much it costs as long as they build it. Maybe this will put a stop to soooo many anchor babies too!!!!
Red-badger, I guess the best we can do is wish Terrell Owens better luck on his next try.

My solution to the cost
Round up all Illegal aliens.
Take them to the border.
Pay them $5.00 per hour to build the fence.
After the fence is built.
Gather them all up for a celebration.
Then tell them it is now time to test the fence.
Have them step to the Mexican side of the fence.
Close the gate.
Lock it and say.
"Good Job. Good Bye"!
