Thread: Something Important I Heard Karl Rove Say

I heard Karl Rove in an interview, talking about McCain, saying that he didn't think an "isolationist of protectionist" approach or platform (not sure of exact wording) would work well or be what McCain should stand for or be about.

When I heard that...I said to myself....well, that's what "they" call "us".

They refer to us as that..."Protectionists".

So, that made me think that John McCain is going to remain an OBL all the way. If "They" have already instructed him to do that it really does mean that ANY consideration of getting behind McCain for the purpose of trying to stop Clinton or Obama from becoming the next POTUS will be a very stupid and useless thing for us to do.

That means that if we stood behind him (gag) once he was POTUS he would ignore us and knock us down....and brother, if we were to have stood behind him and THEN have him do that, it would hurt a million times worse than it does now. We would be heartsick.

I do believe that I am right that they refer to us as that, "Protectionists".

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Karl Rove is one piece of cow dung I want to see locked up in jail for all of his corruption.... this man is worthless

"isolationist or protectionist" words like this are used as a whip much like
racism to defeat any conversation about controlling immigration or trade
agreements, they allow wealthy corporations to continue to sell out America.

Free trade is anything but, it is an action that allows corporations
to make billions while the middle class suffer, I consider an isolationist
or protectionist as patriots like anything else it depends on how far or
excessive you carry the idea, but our political folks use terms and repeat
over and over until the masses believe.

I don't know too many people who would like to be called "isolationists", that sounds rather extreme.

But I've heard them, particularly President Bush refer to "protectionists".

I sort of thought he meant it regarding trade agreements, but then once it sounded as though it included people who believe in enforcing immigration laws as well.

So, I'm not sure, really, but to be a "protectionist" doesn't seem like a bad thing to me.

Regarding Karl Rove, it is so wierd, he seemed like a very nice man on TV almost like we could start sending him emails regarding our stand with the facts, etc., and that he might listen to us.

But, I assume that was a very silly and naive thought that I had.
