Thread: Somewhat OT: Does anyone watch South Park?

I was watching an episode of SP last night on "On Demand", and it was one of the funniest yet. I mention it because it involves Mexico.

The kids were trying to get this whale back to its home (on the moon, supposedly), and they called all these countries asking for a rocket to take the whale to the moon. Well, Russia wanted 20mil, and China wanted 10mil, and I think Japan was called and some other countries. Anyway, they all wanted millions of dollars.

Two of the kids went on a bus to Mexico to ask them, and they found out that there is a space program there (and Karl says to himself, "Mexico has a space program?"), called "MASA". They went there and asked some guy for a rocket, and he said 200. Karl says, "200 million?", and the guy, Manuel, says "no, 200 dollars". HAHAHA He also said he'd drive the truck with the whale in it. I couldn't help myself from cracking up.

I suppose it's quite racist, but I thought it was pretty funny. At least, they were making fun of all the different countries and their governments. Of course, SP is totally insulting to everyone/everything.

Re: the 'racism' / stereotyping part in relation to South Park, I'm not so sure - as almost every group of persons gets a turn on the receiving end... at some point.

I was going to change my signature from the present one, to a line from Mr. Garrison I heard on SP the other night (still thinking about that...). It goes like this:
