    SoyChicano web site

Pretty interesting thread I found on this web site. It is a fourm similar to ours and one of the posters uses one of Watchdog's videos in his posts. Of course their views are anti-anything but indigenous people.

Thanks John! I was unaware of this site. I always enjoy learning what is/are the other point(s) of view.

I may even go back sometime this week and debate the existance of Aztlan.

No better way to find any weaknesses in your own arguements than debating an opponent with another point of view. Opponents are always eager to point them out!

W would probably have some fun here too!

Good idea. Good luck though. Sometimes their posts are hard to understand. If they talk like they type they need to attend more ESL classes. It is as though they are trying to invent their own language.

    John,

Perhaps you are referring to "spanglish?"

Also, "odd" spelling is common with teens too of all nationalities in emails...
I think the writing more reflects their young age and being "cool." Since they are writing to their peers they write this way....I think in corresponding outside their peer group they would use formal English. Since some quote Plato, it's likely at least some are proficient.

What I found interesting is that the preferred language was English. I expected more Spanish.

Seems that they are attempting to copy ALIPAC with one exception, this is a rants and raves site, but I saw little else in the way of actual mature dialogue about true injustices and how they are attempting to solve it.
Just reading these messages on this link it sounds like a teenage chat room, more than a supposed political activist group.
Ever notice, when these anti-American groups are ranting, they use all kinds of profanity, call dirty names and use slanderous messages as their tactics to get noticed and heard.
When true, mature activists are speaking, they speak intelligently, truthfully, do not slander other races and do not feel the need to yell and scream in peoples faces.
I really feel the only reason these people act this way is that they have no true injustices, so they sceam and yell to get people riled up, hoping for a confrontation and then they have something to point their finger at. They hope to provoke someone so they can then say "see how terrible they are, they hurt this poor Hispanic person".

Why do they call us racist? It seems to me that every hispanic website keeps calling white people 'white supremists or members of the KKK'.

I'll agree probably not too many over their 20's. But does give a good idea of their attitudes and mindsets.

You have to check it every once in a while. Sometimes they have some good discussions. I just got done checking out this one:

Searching For a Soul: MEXIKA IDENTITY

A couple get into a discussion about who is more Mexican or something along that line.
