SPARTANBURG , SC - Granny News

    Granny Warrior News

    SPARTANBURG

    South Carolina

The Spartanburg rally seemed destined to failure according to all the pundits, Ron Paul supporters were a bunch of spamers and wackos? Oh my Lord what a glorious day this was.. Rick Beltram who had so blatantly attacked Dr. Paul and saying he was not welcome in his state *SC* had a big lunch of Crow, plus $500 worth of canned spam.. The groups in SC decided to show him what spam looked like and donated it to Beltram,(it later went to the food bank) but it was a very interesting event.

Bette Smith ( Granny Warrior) escorted by Scott Mullins attended that event while my Husband ( yes that is right I actually do have one) and I got all set up for the Rally in Greenville. It was held at the ----------- kind of off the beaten path and in a industrial area but it was beautiful inside, all remodeled and ready to go. The out side of the building still has some work being done on it but it served the purpose wonderfully well. We even got a parking spot right at the front entrance where everyone passed by us.

About 2 PM people started coming in, and coming and coming and coming. For such a small turn out that was expected this rivaled Iowa. They had to open up more of the room to make room for the unexpected Crowd. It was wall to wall people.

Dr. Paul as usual did his wonderful speach, never looked at notes, never wavered from his past statements. When you speak the truth you don't have to backstep and he never misses a beat. The man is a Orator who can hold an audience captive with his common sense and practical solutions to our governments problems.

Wanda Case gave the best heartfelt National Anthem I have heard since Kate Smith. This lady is great. We were so pleased to have her come by and talk to us.

We had Ron Paul T shirts, buttons, 300 yard signs ( which we sold and can now pay for them) the new slim jims, Liberty Bracelets, the Paul Family Cook Books, DVD's and bumper stickers. We have very little of anything left. This was great, we can pay our bills for merchandise plus make another payment on the RV. Plus all those folks that picked up a pre addressed donation envelope may just put in some money and mail them off to the Campaign. Folks that is the name of this game really, raise as much money as possible so Ron Paul can compete with the big money corporatate supported Candidates. If you noticed on his donation apeal he stated "NO CORPORATE DONATIONS" this to me means no one is buying his loyalty.

All in all folks I am beat, still have a back ache but am so happy to see such a turn out. Tim finally got to take a day off and join me on the road and we have made a long week end out of it. He finally got to meet the other man in my life and loved every minute of it. He was so happy to get to speak to both Ron and Carol and had a T shirt signed by Ron for the fellow that worked for him so he could come. Now it is doubtful Todd will ever get that shirt...

We also met a lady with a real talent, she makes jewelry, this necklace is on her neck and I talked her into making me one. They are really beautiful and as soon as I get home and get the necklace with her price list I will certainly make sure you all know where to get one. And we can't forget our favorite Ron Paul Groupie, Bossa Bassa. We love the guy even if he is afraid of Buddy..Speaking of Buddy he had his own show all day long out the window talking to everyone and posing for his photos. That boy is a ham.

On a serious note. Dick Stevens of Virginia a old friend and fighter sent me this which makes my blood run cold. Please read even if you are not a farmer you probably own a animal of some sort and this will affect you>

If you love your country(& your property) PLEASE CONSIDER SHARING the following far & wide!!!

Why you must refuse Premises Registration Tuesday, July 17, 2007 Bush-Clinton Dynasty Derry explained "regional harmonization" from a Canadien perspective using their own facts and figures to drive home his point regarding the SPP and NAU. Here's the definition to premise that was discussed:

In a letter dated June 25, 2007 from the Colorado Cattlemen's Association to Colorado County Commissioners, John Stulp, Marc Johnson, Jeff Goodwin, Chris Wiseman, Kenton Ochsner, Colorado Extension Agent and the Colorado Ag Council regarding 4-H, FFA and State Fair Premises Registration Requirements, the Colorado Cattlemen state in paragraph 2 "First and foremost, CCA supports the right of

4-H, FFA and the State Fair to make any decisions within their legal purview. This is considered a property right by our organization. . ."Why is it so important for the CCA to view the rights of 4-H, FFA and the State Fair as a property right? It is quite simple, property rights are protected under the Constitution of the United States and the Colorado Constitution.

What is premises identification? The United States Department of Agriculture wants you to identify your property as a premises under the National Animal Identification System. Throughout the entire Draft National Animal Identification System Users' Guide, land is referred to as a premises and not property. Why is this important? A premises has no protection under the Constitution of the United States or the Colorado Constitution. Property, on the other hand, always has the exclusive rights of the owner tied to it. Property is divided into real property and personal property. There is also absolute property which includes a horse, sheep or other animal. Property rights are protected by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution of the United States.

The word premises is a synonym for the word tenement. A definition of the word tenement in law is: "Property, such as land, rents, or franchises, held by one person leasing it to another. " A definition of premises in law from the Websters 1828 Dictionary defines premises as: "land or things mentioned in the preceding part of a deed." A definition of premises from the Websters New World Dictionary 1960 College Edition: is: "the part of a deed or lease that states its reason, the parties involved, and the property in conveyance." Lectric Law Library's (www.lectlaw.com) says that the word premises signifies a formal part of a deed; and it is made to designate an estate.

Websters New World Dictionary 1960 College Edition defines the word conveyance as "3. the transfer of ownership of real property from one person to another. 4. the document by which this is effected." To designate is to name or entitle.

Think about it - a premises is "the part of a deed or lease that states its reason, the parties involved, and the property in conveyance.", a premises has no protection under the United States or Colorado Constitutions and has no exclusive rights of the owner tied to it.

Do you want to identify your property as a premises under the National Animal Identification System?

And as you can see we are all still working hard ! Mia and Me just hanging out and letting Tim and Bette do the work.
