Has anyone read the story of ICE raiding this town? This is all I could find. Story was on Lou Dobbs tonight.

I can't find the story on the website, but this morning's Virginian-Pilot had a Business page story that puts a lot more perspective on the illegal immigrant issue than all the bluster you hear in Congress and read on these message boards. The story, "Outrage in a small town" reports on Stillmore, Georgia, where federal agents recently rounded up more than 120 illegal immigrants. Georgia has the fastest-growing illegal immigrant population in the U.S. and is led by a Republican governor and legislature that has passed some of the toughest illegal immigrant measures in the country. The result? "Trailer parks lie abandoned; the poultry plant is scrambling to replace more than half its work force. Business has dried up. This Georgia community of about 1,000 has become little more than a ghost town." The article also talks about the human cost. Clearly, this issue needs a better solution than, "Let's enforce the immigration laws." And once again, we see the limitations of conservative thought.
