They left out the ex-con who shot 4 or 5 police officers in San Francisco, if they are playing a numbers game, (Carlos Slim of Mexico plays a numbers game too). Maybe ex-cons are #2 on their list, followed by MS-13, and the mexican drug cartels that actually kill more Americans altogether with the illegal drugs they smuggle over here.

I suppose now that we are all becoming militia members of some sort. Just look at those radical militias of seniors at the town halls, check out those wacked out mobs of soccer moms and children at the Tea Party's. Gosh, we better keep an eye out for ANYONE that wants a return to constitutional government. After all, we are just a bunch of extremists and terrorists.

I would like to say something about the gun shows and gun nuts he refers to. I regularly attend a gun show held every month here in the city. I can assure you, firstly, that I am no wacko militia conspiracy theorist nut nor are the people that I see attending these shows. They are middle Americans, sportsmen, collectors and enthusiasts. Mothers, fathers, sons and daughters. I feel safer in these shows, amidst thousands of weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition than I do on the streets of my city. Why? Because I have found these people to be the most law abiding, country loving, freedom loving people that I have had the pleasure to associate with. I trust any one of them to watch my back, watch out for my family and interests far more than I do the entire collection of clowns running our government. Make no doubt about it, if this country is in peril, they will be the first in line to protect it.

I certainly agree with you. My wife and I attended a gun show this months as well. Let me assure it was FULL of people and most buying guns. We had to wait in lines to sign the paperwork and do background checks. All of these people were just as you described. My wife as most of you know feels these same as I do about these issues and is a LEGAL immigrant tunred US Citizen who just recently started working for the Sheriff's Department. None of us are melitia members, none of us are whackos. In fact my wife had to undergo psychological testing to take the job of protecting and serving.

What really makes me angry, is we are having a very hard time purchasing ammunition here in Houston. Target ranges can't get any and most sporting goods stores are sold out. Those that do have any are charging an arm and a leg for it. I never thought I would see the day. Even law enforcement can't purchase enough.

SPLC was on CBS evening News Wed. nite.I was screeming at the tv because it seems NO ONE checks the validity of SPLC's lies. They even showed video of supposed militants practicing in the woods.I really question if the video's were militants or military excercise video's.

I am confident SPLC will eventually lose their credibility with most Americans if we continue to expose their lies and half truths.

Bigtex, my wife is a legal immigrant (20 yrs) and is a nurse. Quite sane and law abiding I might add, but sees that we are headed in the wrong direction. She had observed the U.S. from afar for most of her adult life so has a good perspective of where we were and where we are now heading. For her, the U.S. was a shining beacon of everything good.

She was also afraid of firearms until I taught her how to safely handle them. Now she is a better shot than me! Regarding ammo, try Academy Sports and Outdoors. Lately they have been pretty good. If you want another recommendation, pm me.

THE ONE THING I have about the situation in waco is that the group and its leaders brought it upon themselves and they are the ones who started the fires in the house that caused it to burn. they even killed each other before the fires started too

Yes we have to expose their lies because MSM is going to keep the propaganda machine going, that is their job, not truthful reporting.
