I called the NC Attorney General's Office yesterday, asking what they could do vs. the document fraud and identity theft going on in Tarheel, NC with the illegals at Smithfield. They referred me to the Dept of Labor for NC, who referred me to the Unemployment Commission (I think that's what it was...I was getting frustrated at this point.) I spoke with three different people at this last place.

While the people who I spoke with tried to be helpful, and were sympathetic to me, they said that I needed to do my due diligence to find the proper state organization that handles this sort of thing. When I mentioned "illegals," they also mentioned ICE, of course.

It seems that in cases of individual identity theft, or in cases where social security benefits have been exercised fraudulently, various state agencies will take action. Either the State of NC won't do anything about this, or maybe I'm asking the wrong questions. Any ideas?

I told them that the identities of various North Carolinians and Americans in general may have been compromised by these illegals.

So, was i asking the wrong questions, or is this something for Immigration only?

Thanks,

Ostrich
