FOX RECEIVES AWARD AND ACCUSATIONS IN SAN DIEGO

The Americas Institute of the University of California San Diego (UCSD), awarded ex president Vicente Fox the award for Peace and Democracy.

The coalition ‘Va por Oaxaca’ accused the ex leader, in mass protest, of motivating more than three million undocumented immigrants. "We did not come here for the American Dream like Fox says. We came here because we did not have anything to eat", said Francisco Nita.

70 people protested outside the Hotel, location were Vicente Fox received his award. Bertha, a young protester who did not want to give her last name, said that "someone should go to Oaxaca and videotape how things are now and compare it to how things were before Fox".

Are they freaking out of their minds?

This piece of refuse is a MURDERER!!
A MURDERER of children, women and men. Of mexicans being cajoled to take a death march thru the deserts by Foxies own hand!!!

    This can't stand, folks.
It's by Foxies own desires to lie to his people that so many are dying.
Does he care? NO! He couldn't give a flying fig how many of those "poor peasants" die a slow death in the desert as long as they leave his country to make way for the goliath NAFTA CORPORATIONS to take the land and grease his bank accounts

This is an article from the day before.

El Mexicano Newspaper. April 26, 2007.
“He did not bring Democracy to Mexico”

PROTEST DURING AWARD CEREMONY FOR VICENTE FOX

Outside the U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego, California; various protesters chanted against Mexican ex president Vicente Fox. The criticized him for not solving the problem in Oaxaca, for putting aside the indigenous agenda, and for leaving the country under a great deception for lack of opportunities and its people divided by immigration.

“He said he would solve the problem in Chiapas in 5 minutes and he did nothing. He left things worse, with his white guards, and now many comrades are detained.” Insisted a member of a group ‘Va por Oaxaca’

While this could be true in some parts of Mexico (I have never been there and have no idea how it is there), I have to say, there has to be some opportunity somewhere in that country.

However, I applaud this man for standing up to the lies of Vicente Fox. There are getting "warmer" on this issue, but still off from being "hot".

He's spending more time in the U.S. than he does in Mexico.
