Stop Mexican trucks petition: is it legit?

    http://action.citizen.org/campaign.jsp? ... _KEY=12513

Ever since reading about grassfire I'm really leery of signing any petitions.

Can anyone tell me if this is legit? Or at least if the organization sponsoring it is legit?

FYI-I personally support and believe that Public Citizen does a good job of keeping the American public updated. I signed that petition last month and have signed many of their letters. That's my opinion for what it's worth.
