This is a copy of the letter I send to the school papers editor:

    Dear Editor:

I find it sad that your paper would choose to write an article on illegal aliens, and not present the other side of the story. Contrary to the positions spelled out in the article, we American's are familiar with the host of problems that exist in Mexico, and other Latin countries, know their poverty, are familiar with the country's corrupt government. America does more for the rest of the world and third world nation's than any other nation on earth, but the reality is, we cannot absorb everyone, cannot save and lift billions of people out of poverty.

One of the things I find most disturbing about the pro-illegal alien movement, is a total lack of remorse and concern on their part for the Americans they are displacing, a complete disregard for the lowering of our quality of life standards for those who can afford it the least. The write speaks about most Mexican's not being able to afford health care, but wonder if any thought was given to the over FORTY MILLION American's without coverage, why the writer cannot understand legalizing 12-15 million illegal aliens will only exasperate that serious problem in America for many lower and middle income families.

The writer says they are only coming here for a better life...America has the most liberal immigration policies in the world, while conversely, Mexico and most Latin nations have the most restrictive immigration policies, as well as constitutional restrictions that greatly reduce or eliminate foreign investment in their economies. Using Mexico as one example, it is almost impossible for a non citizen to own worthwhile properties or investments there...foreigners and non citizens are specifically forbidden from owning land or businesses within 25 miles of Mexico shoreline, and 60 miles of their borders. Instead, they are expected to give their money to a Mexican bank, the bank buys and OWNS said property or investment, and forms and manages a trust on your behalf for a fee. Perhaps if these Mexican citizens spent as much time working to better Mexico as they spend breaking our laws, their own nation that they supposedly love would be a far better place than it currently is.

Lastly, as a college, find it hard to believe that students are not being made fully aware of some of the real life costs to Americans when it comes to this tsunami of illegal aliens. For instance, American lower and middle class wages are lowered by over 200 billion dollars a year. That works out to a loss on average of four percent of our annual wages. For those in the lower 1/3 of the economy, that loss is almost double at over seven percent, and for African American/Black families the income loss climbs on average to over 9 percent. Sure any economics professor on your campus will tell you, that for every dollar into an economy, you create six more, and for every dollar out, you eliminate 6...last year world wide, illegal aliens working in our American work force sent back in the form of remittances over 120 BILLION dollars. That is a 12-1 negative turn around in our economic machine here in America, or more than 1.4 trillion dollars. Just in lost tax revenues alone, that amounts to better than 300 billion dollars (conservatively) and for just ONE YEAR. Wondering if your campus students are aware that of the 1.4 million new jobs created under President Bush, that over 1.2 million went to illegal aliens, while the America employee population over all has seen a net loss during that time period of 1/2 million jobs. Furthermore, because illegal aliens are moving into sectors of our economy that have been traditionally reserved for our youth (16-25), that sector of our population has seen a net drop in the number of jobs available to them of 30 percent in the last five years. Our nation is rapidly spiraling down a hill into a situation similar to that in France where unemployment for the youth of our nation will exceed 25 percent.

Solving our immigration problem is not about tossing our doors open to the world, and rewarding law breakers. As generous as our nation is, we first are a nation of laws, and secondly there has to be limits to our generosity and those limits should be accepted and respected by the nations of the world, and specifically Mexico. It's unfair the Mexico or any other country to think they can wholesale eliminate poverty within their borders by exporting it out to America, it is unfair for them to think it fair that their second largest industry is remittances sent home from those working ILLEGALLY in America. The 1986 Amnesty was supposed to grant Amnesty to around 1.2 million people here illegally, yet over 3.6 million ended up applying. Now we have these same law breaking criminals asking for another Amnesty, but the numbers are somewhere between 12-20 million (not counting the 3.6 million anchor babies), and just the hint of a potential Amnesty has seen the flood of humanity crossing our Souther Border turn into a tidal wave as more and more people decide NOW IS THE TIME to make a run for it. Let's set Amnesty (earned citizenship), a Guest Worker Plan and the Dream Act aside for now, and deal with A) securing our borders, and B) enforcing our laws and getting a handle on the situation, and then and ONLY THEN should we discuss what to do with those who have broken our laws to be here.

"“Even in kindergarten through 12th grade, kids have to buy their own school books."

    My my.......

Around 3 years ago, when the HUGE influx of illegals and their spawn started filling Omaha Nebraska, the Mexican government sent a semi-trailer full of Spanish language text books to the Omaha Public Schools to assist in educating the large number of non-English speaking kids.

    Free.

    No charge.

Paid for by the Mexican government.

That Vicente Fox and the Mexican elite are smart folks. They know how to get rid of their "undesirables."

When will the mass media here begin informing the populace of the incredibly racist/classist society/government/country known as Mexico?

When will the politically correct crowd begin spewing about Mexico as they did South Africa for so many years?

But, I forget...... GW Bush frothing at the mouth when he was first elected el presidente.... when Bush placed his girlish never-worked-a-real-job arm around his bestest buddy Fox and told the world, "Mexico is America's best friend."

Remember kids.... obey your elite-class masters.
