    Dallas BB&T Bank Accepting Marticular Consular ID

    So I am sitting at a stop light in Dallas yesterday. Look up at the bank sign and see this

    " we accept marticular Consular ID's


    BB&T Bank at 35 and Mockingbird in Dallas.
    and maybe their corporate office need phone calls to remind then that these cards are not valid forms of IDs.

    This bank it just around the corner from the Mexican Consulate Offices, too

    I wonder if therer isn't somewhere in Fed law about what the bank can and cannot accept as valid ID? If marticular consulor is not ont he list of proper IDs then they need to be turned in and all their transactions voided out at bank expense.

    My library card is more secure than the matricular consulor card. Perhaps I should try to open a bank account with my library card and see what happens.
