Support the Senate version of E-Verify not the House
The House version of E-Verify stinks to high heaven. Too many loopholes. Lamar Smith Is showing his "rino" horn
The Senate version Is a better bill .... Rubio cosponsors mandatory E-Verify bill
By Marcos Restrepo | 06.17.11
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., are cosponsoring a bill requiring all employers to use E-Verify, a federal program that allows companies to verify if a job applicant is authorized to work in the U.S.
According to the Shark Tank, Rubio released the following statement:
Consistently, I have stated that a modernization of the legal immigration system is impossible unless we must first secure the border and implement an E-Verify system that will help prevent the hiring and exploitation of undocumented workers. That’s why I support Senator Charles Grassley’s bill to make E-Verify permanent. #
Grassely, the Senate Judiciary Committee’s ranking member, says in written statement, “E-Verify has already proven effective in combating the hiring of illegal aliens. It’s a simple tool for employers who want to comply with the law in a digital age when sophisticated, fraudulent documents are just the stroke of a computer key away.â€

[quote]Dee Dee Garcia — the director of Somos Republicans, a national conservative Republican organization — tells The Florida Independent her organization “will not support E-Verify, which is an enforcement-only policy, until Congress reconciles with the millions of hardworking undocumented immigrants. SOMOS REPUBS...A FRONT GROUP! what a laugh...that somos does not support is a good sign. What I really need to know about the Senate version is if it dominates the legal field...i.e. prempts state/local efforts on enforcement. TRUST ME THIS IS THE REAL ISSUE!

how come other immigrants speaking other languages dont have those "somos" groups, in their languages of origin? They don't bc they know we English is our language and very sorry for all those of you so compassionate and politically correct, but SPANISH is NOT our language.
Illegal immigration = Hispanic politics = demographic hegemony muscle flexing!
Enough with PC politics, we have a nation to preserve, not to recast!

Grassley Works to Hold Employers Accountable for Hiring Illegal Workers WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley today is introducing legislation to make permanent the E-Verify program, a web-based tool that allows employers to verify the work eligibility of new employees. The bill would also require that all employers use the E-Verify program within one year of enactment of the legislation. Grassley’s legislation also makes several needed improvements to the program.
“E-Verify has already proven effective in combating the hiring of illegal aliens. It’s a simple tool for employers who want to comply with the law in a digital age when sophisticated, fraudulent documents are just the stroke of a computer key away,â€
