CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. -- Police said 2-year-old Edwin Gonzales’s home in Chatham County was invaded by four men early Sunday morning who tied up several people inside, including his mother. Gonzales was taken and police believed he was with his father, Jorge Aguilera.

An Amber Alert was issued. Police thought they may be headed to South Carolina, where Aguilera has family. Aguilera drives a burgundy Ford Expedition. He is 5’6’’ tall with black hair and brown eyes.

Sunday afternoon, a vehicle matching the above description was found in Gaston County. A spokesperson for the FBI tells us that right now there is an open investigation into the kidnapping out of the Raleigh area. He says, "A vehicle was found in Gaston County, and is allegedly connected to the kidnapping." He also says that neither the child, nor the suspect were located, and the Amber Alert remains active.

The FBI is continuing to work with the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, as well as Immigration and Customs.

If you have any information call the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office at 919-542-2911.

Our police departments have to spend days and days of their time on this? I say let Vincente Fox take care of this. This is what is to be expected when you allow millions of criminals into this country.... Yes, I say criminals. They enter America knowing they are breaking the law and could care less !!!! These are not immigrants, these are criminals... the worst of the worst the world has to offer.
