T-Mobile response to my response. Funny thing is they didn't give you the "option" for Spanish only had to press 1 for English. An wait until you read the part of the "official" language of the USA is both English AND Spanish. Oh Really since when????

    Dear Vickie,

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile in regards to the
phone menu system. My name is Chris and Im happy to assist you today.

I understand that you feel frustrated that the phone menu system asks
you to select English by pressing one or Spanish by pressing two. The
reason we give the option of English and Spanish is because both of these
languages are the official languages of the USA and as we have more
English speaking customers we have made English the first choice rather
than the second. If we set the system so that it only asked non-English
customers to press a number, this would require you to listen to all
options and waiting for a pause to provide time for our Spanish customers
time to respond. With the current system you can press one before it
even says anything about Spanish allowing a quicker experience.

I also understand that you would like to let us know about what a
representative had said over the phone, making mention that being in
southern California is like being in Mexico due to the mostly Spanish speaking population. I can appreciate the concern with such as statement and is not condoned by T-Mobile as we strive to provide world class Customer
    Care.

If you have any further comments, questions, or concerns feel free to
contact Customer Care by replying to this e-mail or call us at
1-800-937-8997 or by dialing 611 on your handset followed by pressing SEND. We are always happy to help.

    With regards,

    Chris A

I haven't read braille in spanish.... I've tried shopping in Miami, and what a mistake. Most of the products are in spanish and have no english once so ever on their labels. It's disgusting. I mean come on even in Quebec everything up there has English and French on the label atleast.

By the way.... Did you know that if you enroll in a highschool in Miami, they ask you if you speak English at home. If you don't then you have to take an ESOL test to see what classes you are put into. Do you think any people who speak spanish have to take this test? None that I know of had to. Why did I have to? This is obscene.... What do you guys/girls think?
