Editor’s Note: Shortly after we posted the story below the website Dreamactivist.org reported that Senator Schumer’s office stated that while students fasted outside the Senator’s office representatives of Washington based mainstream immigration advocacy organizations met, unbeknownst to the fasters and their supporters, with Senator Schumer. Much work you have presented me with here! Trying to learn about the names presented, their bios (not much) and their lies. Not time to refute all this but just the last paragraph is an easy one - that they are doing all this without millions from foundations - that is not true - this list shows several entities that support illegals;

I don't know how many times I have brought this up but: Foreign citizens cannot lobby our Congress unless they follow the proper channels. That goes for those who represent or advocate for them. All illegal aliens, including the DREAM act students, are, under the law, "foreign principals" and before they can contact Congress, or be represented by someone, there needs to be registration under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. For example, the students, since they are not legally admitted constituents, must either register themselves or have an agent who is registered. Moreover, they should not be calling themselves "constituents" which is very misleading. Only US citizens and lawful permanent residents have representation in the US Congress.
The law is not designed to prevent any foreign lobbying (since we do the same thing in other countries). It is designed to ensure that it goes through the proper channels.
We need to raise this point with Congressmen, and also with the legal counsel for both parties. The phone numbers below will take a message for the legal counsel of each Party.
