Your thoughts
Now that England has found more terrorists cells and Canada too...
How long do you think it's going to take before their citizens cry out to stop illegal/legal immigration?Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

My thoughts are:
I think more bad things will happen before enough people take any action.
I think a new third party is going to become prominent in American Politics, perhaps this year.
I think the Canandians will wake up about the same time Americans do. I think Europe will not and the Islamic problem France has had recently will spread.
I guess that's enough for now...Hussein who?

Who is in control?
I think, unfortunately it will take another incident as in the bombing in the London Tube in July 2005 before Blair increases homeland security. He and Elbushero are political idealogues so I think it will take, god-forbid another incident along the lines of 9-11 or worse before this jackass gets off his dead buttocks and seals the borders. I figured the incident in Toronto would have awakened the dead tissue between his ears and forced him to at least increase guard presence along the border with a more active role. It still is beyond comprehension in light of the incident in Toronto that the borders are still wide open. As I said in an earlier forum, god forbid if there was another 9-11 or worse Vincente Bush will be held personally responsibile by 280 million Americans for his outright negligence. And I also heard the VA has disclosed that in addition to losing veterans data they may have lost 50,000 active duty troops data too. Just what our troops need when they are placing their lives on the line.
1. Iraq mess
2. Immigration mess-open borders
3. New Orleans unprepared for 2006 hurricane season
4. "Loss" of my and veterans and active duty troops data
5. Being jackasses and wastes of taxpayer money
IMPEACH BUSH NOW!!!!!!!

I hope the Canadians will start seeing it for what it is, like many of us have.
Maybe now they can understand how we feel. I hope it does not take the same kind of disaster like 9/11 on their soil to make then finally say to their government "do something".
I hope we can work together to combat this problem in both countries and make sure that everyone there is a citizen and loyal to both countries. However, these people were citizens of Canada, if that meant they had legally immigrated and became citizens or were born there, the news was not that clear when I heard about it.
We also have to get used to the idea that these extremists will evolve with the times, and will adapt their SOP to fit in, in whatever way needed. So looking for illegals from Muslim countries, or even those holding visa's may not be enough. We will have to be aware of local groups who seem to have extremist views, even those who were born here could be suspect.
We are not in a day and age where it is all cut and dry anymore, although it would be nice if it was."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. If something doesn't happen soon to strengthen our cause, it'll be too late. In another 10-20 years, maybe less, we'll be unable to do anything about the problem. Pro-illegal immigrant advocate groups have been growing stronger and stronger every year since 1986 (there is strength in numbers). It also doesn't help matters that our 1st and 2nd generation immigrant population has been growing by leaps and bounds. Most of them, with their recent memories, support the American dream for all that wish it. Furthermore, the deeper the illegals and their off-spring become inbeded in our society, the harder it will be to root them out. In my opinion, we are at the point now where the only logical solution to the illegal immigration problem is attrition, which can be accomplished by larger fines and jail time for law breaking employers that have grown dependent on cheap labor. Corporate America is, without a doubt, our most formidable foe in this battle. Somehow we must force our politicians to increase punishment for those that hire illegals and we must get the federal government to enforce laws against hiring illegals. When the illegal job market goes away, so will the constant influx of illegals.
The National Guard, increased border patrolmen, and more fences is not the answer. You don't cut off a snakes tail to kill it, you cut off its head! That head that controls the body is corporate America and their hired lobbyist.
Just my opinion, for what it's worth."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

Sorry moosetracks, after reading your post again, I realize my post had very little (or nothing) to offer in response to your original post. I guess it's late (4:30 am) and I'm getting tired.

I think that the average citizen in America is finally feeling threatened.
I think those marches the mex's had woke up millions of otherwise oblivious Americans to their ( and our) danger.
I don't think it's too late.
I think we need better organization of our different groups...but perhaps that's what the Unite to Fight Convention in Vegas was about...greater coordination of effort.
I think if it wasn't, we need to figure out how to get all our 'troops' aboard the same train on the same issues at the same time.
