Exclamation Trump's campaign criticizes Mark Zuckerberg for living in a 'posh neighborhood'

    By Seth Fiegerman

Someone may need to build a wall just to break up the fight between Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg.

Trump's camp pushed back against Zuckerberg with a curious criticism on Wednesday, one day after the Facebook CEO made a pretty clear dig at the Republican frontrunner's controversial rhetoric about building walls and fearing outsiders.

In an interview with CNBC, Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson criticized Zuckerberg for being "self-righteous" and suggested that he needed to ditch Silicon Valley for a border town.

"Self-righteousness isn't very proactive," Pierson said. "I think I'll take Mark Zuckerberg seriously when he gives up all of his private security, moves out of his posh neighborhood, and come live in a modest neighborhood near a border town, and then I'm sure his attitude would change."

Yes, you read that right. A rep for one self-professed billionaire just hit another billionaire for effectively being out of touch. Never mind that Trump divides his time between a guarded private palace in Palm Beach and a Manhattan penthouse high above the earth.

During his keynote address at Facebook's F8 conference on Tuesday, Zuckerberg criticized some of Trump's signature talking points without naming the real estate mogul by name.

"I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as 'others.' For blocking free expression, for slowing immigration, reducing trade, and, in some cases around the world, even cutting access to the Internet," Zuckerberg said in his speech.

"That's why I think the work we are all doing is so important. Because we can actually give more people a voice. Instead of building walls, we can help people build bridges. And instead of dividing people, we can help bring people together."

Trump has made building a wall with Mexico a centerpiece of his presidential campaign. He has also advocated for a trade war with China and called for a total ban on Muslims entering the U.S.

Throughout his campaign, Trump has repeatedly butted heads with the big technology companies. He called for a boycott of Apple products in response its fight with the FBI. He has promised to create "such problems" for Amazon and its CEO Jeff Bezos if elected president. And he has attacked Zuckerberg for his support of immigration reform.

A spokesperson for Zuckerberg declined to comment.

Zuckerberg, you're not doing anything important. Yes, your company gives people a voice through Facebook, that's great. I don't use it because I don't want to enrich you further for the simple reason that you value your voice more than your country and citizens. Walls are necessary when foreigners are over-running our borders in violation of US immigration law. We already have bridges where needed for legal immigrants. We need to build bridges inside our country for American citizens to drive safely to work, and Trump wants to do that. So you should be supporting Trump not opposing him if you believe in real bridges with a legitimate legal purpose. And his bridges will be strong, good and yes .... beautiful. We'll name them all Trump Bridges, so we know the new ones from the old ones, the repaired ones from the unsafe ones. Every new and renovated bridge will get the Trump Stamp of Approval. We'll also have new Trump Trains, safe, fast trains like they have in other countries and beautiful new Trump Airports, that are pleasure to drive up to and walk through and wait in and depart from. In 2017, every city and state and will want their new safe Trump Bridges, their fast and affordable Trump Trains and their efficient and beautiful Trump Airports. And instead of using Treasury Bonds to cover deficits in the budget funding illegal aliens and unemployed Americans, we'll get the illegal aliens out, put Americans back to work, and issue Trump Treasury Bonds to pay for our new Bridges, Trains, Airports and Infrastructure.

Trump is not advocating unlimited immigration and a welfare state like Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg is just looking for cheaper slaves.....IMO

Zuckerberg is just a young silly "We are the world" type person with more money he earns from all over the world than knowledge about our country that made it possible.

El Cheapo.....Never enough money.....he is a billionaire & needs more.....ungrateful for his fortunes.....would eliminate American citizens IT jobs for visa'd foreign workers, less pay.

He is really a scumbag. We are the World interprets to "Un-American".

His service, facebook, takes use & possession rights of your content and images to use now and forever.

He manipulates user's comments; e.g. merkel's request to remove negative comments about refugee crimes - "I'm working on it" came across the hot mic.

His quest to overtake the Indian internet market fell flat - they laughed at his offered service. Stores couldn't sell ANY - so many others available that weren't so ungenerous.

El Cheapo was counting the rupees from that enormous population - only in his dreams

I think HUD should start putting their housing in Zuckerberg's neighborhood, Martha's Vineyard, Beverly Hills, on Pelosi's winery, Clintons, Jeh Johnson's, Sander's and Reid's neighborhood...good for a start.
