Ted Nugent: Eric Holder Should Be Sitting in a Mexican Jail
Every once in a great while a voice of reason emerges from the cesspool of popular culture with words so wise and profound it tugs at the heart strings.
Rock music legend Ted Nugent is one of those voices, and he has a strong message for Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder.
The Motor City Mad Man recently penned an article where he connects the dots between the Fast and Furious gun running scandal, and the arrest and detention of U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi in a Mexico.
In Nugent’s article, he states that Eric Holder should be the one rotting in a Mexican prison for trafficking guns through Fast and the Furious, and something should be done immediately to free Tahmooressi.
via WND:Sgt. Tahmooressi had three legally owned guns with him when he made a wrong turn and mistakenly entered Mexico. The guns he had with him are all perfectly legal in the United States. There is no evidence Sgt. Tahmooressi had any intent to sell the guns to murdering Mexican dope thugs.Nugent is spot on. If the Mexican government really wants to nab someone for running guns, Eric Holder should already be in cuffs headed south of the border. It’s sad and a bit sickening to see Obama fawn over Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, a deserter and traitor, yet do nothing to help this young man be released from his wrongful imprisonment.
Should the Mexican government be truly interested in going after gun traffickers, I recommend they issue an arrest warrant for United States Attorney General Eric Holder. Truckloads of indisputable evidence point his way.
The ATF, clearly in response to orders from the top, not only allowed but specifically orchestrated the running of roughly 2,000 guns to illegally cross into Mexico without notifying the Mexican government. If this isn’t a gun trafficking violation, then what is?
Instead of going after Holder and his ATF gang of gunrunners, the Mexican government is holding Sgt Tahmooressi, a hero warrior of the USMC.
Neither President Obama nor Secretary of State Kerry have said anything publicly to the Mexican government asking for Tahmooressi’s release.
The American people can help Sgt. Tahmooressi by writing and calling their Congressman and demanding that something be done to bring him home. If enough pressure is placed on our politicians, they will cave.
Please share this article if you agree with Ted Nugent’s call for swapping out Sgt. Tahmooressi with Attorney General Eric Holder.
