Actually his immigration platform is fairly good except for the part of "Bring People Out of the Shadows: Support a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line"

Of course the end of the immigration line is outside of the USA but that is not what they mean. I think we need to remind them Americans feel the immigration line is outside the USA, anything else is an injustice and penalty for those who obeyed the law. Plus any mass legalization program would benefit Mexicans and Central Americans 100 times more than all other nationalities, it is massive discrimination based on national origin. Americans oppose this racism.

Yes this is the actual Obama transition site.....and they are taking comments. I submitted mine when the site first opened. Everyone should do this. We should be bombarding that site with our suggestions to make ourselves heard.

Thank you Bowman! And the website should be turned into a sticky. The change.org website is a scam where we end up frustrating ourselves as our message is ignored.

The Obama-Biden Plan

For too long, politicians in Washington have exploited the immigration issue to divide the nation rather than find real solutions. Our broken immigration system can only be fixed by putting politics aside and offering a complete solution that secures our border, enforces our laws, and reaffirms our heritage as a nation of immigrants.

Create Secure Borders: Protect the integrity of our borders. Support additional personnel, infrastructure and technology on the border and at our ports of entry.

Improve Our Immigration System: Fix the dysfunctional immigration bureaucracy and increase the number of legal immigrants to keep families together and meet the demand for jobs that employers cannot fill.

Remove Incentives to Enter Illegally: Remove incentives to enter the country illegally by cracking down on employers who hire undocumented immigrants.

Bring People Out of the Shadows: Support a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.

Work with Mexico: Promote economic development in Mexico to decrease illegal immigration.

No surprise, just as soon as the enforcement plans made their way to the top of the "Ideas" section on Change.org, they were DELETED.

The top "winners" are now Dream Act, same-sex immigration, and amnesty.

Change.org was shamelessly rigged, probably by some little socialist by the name of Dave Bennion, but I guess we should expect that from open-border libs. Credibility is not one of their concerns.

DOES ANYONE have a recount of the highest votes on the site before it was rearranged to advance the agenda of the site's editors rather than the will of the electorate?

Left comments. I hope change.org gets very far in their efforts to lobby Congress. Maybe we should go over there after January 5 and vote for the "Legalize marijuana" idea!
