Tenn: 11% Hispanic students missing after CrackDown

    Hispanic Students Missing From Schools

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. - The Robertson County school district faces some problems Friday morning after a recent crackdown on illegal immigration. The illegal immigration crackdown led to the vanishing of 11 percent of Hispanic students.

The district has been under state watch for failing to educate pockets of students, which includes non-English speakers.

Now of the 768 Hispanic students, 60 have formally withdrawn and another 25 to 30 can't be accounted for.

Public schools are required by a U.S Supreme Court decision to educate all students - regardless of their immigration status.

If the missing students don't return soon, they will be too far behind to succeed on upcoming achievement tests.

Boohoo, maybe they returned to thier parents country of origin like the kids of diplomats do ,even if they were born in the USA.VOLVO has a lot of swedish people working in my area for sometimes 10 years and then they return home.Thier kids were born in the USA but they think I am joking ifI ask them if they are going to leave thier kids behind with any relatives or freinds when they move home.Believe me ,many like the US better because the govenment over there has become more socialist

Hopefully they left for good, but I fear just as many are sneaking in under the smokescreen of our election frenzy. I feel all of this amnesty talk will just spur them on.

Crimes against hispanics and by hispanics is increasing in Atlanta and it is now very violent.

El Azteca Grocery was robbed and they killed the female owner that was working even though she gave no struggle. The owners also own restaurants by the same name all over Atlanta.

Yeah, I hope its because theyve left!!!

Doesnt anyone realize that we are allowing a whole generation of under
skilled youths to be dumped on the society? A good friend used to teach
in Robertson county and she had kids who couldnt speak English (I know
thats a shock!) but the clincher is that she had to pass them anyway. And
its high school too meaning time has run out for them.
Didnt matter that they couldnt take/pass a test, understand the lessons
or anything but thats what our bloated pc education dumping on our
    communities.
    PROMOTE SELF DEPORTATION, ENFORCE OUR
    LAWS!

Excellent! We need more news like this. Who says that deporting all the illegals is impossible? If we seriously start enforcing the immigration laws, those FREE-LOADERS will self-deport!

Oh, now everyone is concerned about where they might have goen when in fact for years, the government ignored their parents' whereabouts, I think the concern is not about the children, it's about the loss of cheap labor.

well maybe now some REAL AMERICAN students can get educated instead of being pushed out for the Hispanics . I would be rejoicing if it was my town not worrying and wanting them to come back, but I forgot the more students a school has the more money they get. Now adays it is all about the money with everyone, FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL !!!!

I can about say without a doubt they didn't go back to their Parents home country though, they just went to another state that hasn't started the Crack Downs !!! They ain't gonna leave its to much money they would lose
Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country.

I don't think that they'll be back because Tenn, is one of the 5 states that are about to follow OK. and ARZ.

I guess that's part of the "No Child Left Behind" Act".
