Texas Association of Business
Has anyone ever heard of this group. They are the ones the Houston chronicle described today as putting pressure on Texas Senators to change their mind about illegal immigration. Another group putting on pressure here in Texas is the Texas Association of Business
Houston Chronicle:
Texas employers will use the recess to pressure Hutchison and Cornyn, who do not support the bill as written. Texas Employers for Immigration Reform, a coalition of businesses and trade groups supportive of the Senate bill, is engaging in a grass-roots public relations offensive to change the senators' minds.
"We hope that both Republican senators from Texas would get behind this bill," said Bill Hammond, president of the Texas Association of Business and a coalition board member. "We believe it's a unique opportunity."Certified Member
