Thank you Georgia for stepping up
Yesterday the great governor of Georgia signed into law what pretty much says if you are cought using illegals for work, you will be prosecuted and face fines and jail time. From what I have seen on the news, their state has a huge problem with Mexican illegals pretty much taking their state hostage. These are the types of actions that will help us all in our fight to get our voice heard. The more states that make a stand, the more others will question their own moral obbligation to their citizens.
This wasn't an easy move on the part of the Govenor. I am sure that there will be a big back lash from those in his state as aliens, and the buisinesses that exploit them. They will obviously lose some special intrest income. But I am sure that they will soon be losing alot of the cancer that has attacked their state. If every state did as Georgia, we wouldn't have a problem with illegal immigration cause there wouldn't be any jobs to keep them here. In the end that will be the only action that will fix this problem. Johnny

I let out a whoop when I heard the news today. I emailed the Gov. my opinion last week entreating him to sign so I felt personally responsible for the victory (as if)
Brave stand in the face of a cowardly bunch of states that lean otherwise!
Now whom do you want me to email next?

Way to Go Georgia
D.A. King is a Knight in Shining armor! He has worked tirelessly to get something done in Georgia! I hope he runs for office! We need more like him.
Unfortunately, our rat bag politicians in Montgomery killed any chance to get a bill through here in Alabama. This is the second session in a row that we had bills out there and they thumbed their noses at us! It is time for us citizens to run for office and get these career criminals out of office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God

NC Governor no interested
Our Governor, Mike Easley, is so unconcerned with the topic of illegal immigration that he doesn't have the subject listed in his drop down menu of issues to contact him about.
Maybe all can send him a nice mail asking he show a little backbone as the Governor of Georgia did.

Great job to the governor of GA in standing up against this invasion. Giving law enforcement the right to check immigration status will catch alot of these illegal immigrants as often that is their first contact with the system. I have been in courthouses in Boston where there are so many illegal aliens in there for court appearances for crimes, but no checking of their status, this is ludicrous!!! Many of them need interpreters as they cannot speak a word of english, do ya think they are illegal, duh? What is wrong with our legal system when they cannot and will not enforce our laws. Kudos to GA for starting the ball rolling. And kudos to MA for checking status on all medicaid recipients and others who want to receive healthcare benefits for free.
Freedom isn't free... Don't forget the men who died and gave that right to all of us....

Signing the bill was good, but MALDEF, (or whatever it is) is threatening to sue claiming the bill to be unconstitutional.
Georgia taxpayers still have to pay for the birth and education of anchor babies because the bill excludes them. But if adult illegals are deported, they might have to take their kids back home with them.
I still feel that something needs to be done to put a stop to the abuse of the Constitution's 14th Amendment.

Good going, Georgia.
Please don't hold your breath for anything like that to come about in Texas. Our state is being run from the WH and we know how they feel about the situation.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
