THANKS ALL...I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS....yes,,,I'm one of you..I call myself an Americanist,I believe in Legal immigration...but not illegal invasion as you can tell by my letter. in New Jersey it seems no one wants to approach, talk about or do a damn thing about these issues. Frustrating...but i'm sending letters/e-mails to everyone possible and asking people not to vote for McCain...who thinks it's time for the illegals to take up arms to win they cause....he who makes laws supports those who break laws...tell McCain he's in contempt and has a conflict of interest.He tells illegals 75% of Americans agree with amnesty...I wonder what pole he's on....?

Hang in there! We are all POed and fighting the good fight. What we are doing seems to be working and we have to keep doing it.

Have you been writing your local paper? We can get after them and write letters to the editor... You just have to let us know. We will help if we can. Alipac has sure helped turn my area newspapers around. Even Bill O'Riley mentioned the other day that the Dallas paper was getting better. I have to give some of that credit to Alipac's members and their support. Bring the articles, with links to Alipac and post it and ask people to comment about it and give them the link or address so we can write letters in response to immigration issues.

i recieved a reply that my response was being forwarded for possible editorial. Never heard a thing.normally i noticed any replies to opinions are printed within a few days, they can say i didn't add my addy or phone #, but it didn't ask for this info..it just gave a e-mail address to write to. so today i e-mailed for the statis of my article...am waiting for a reply...BUT... it seems my paper doesn't want to have opinions against illegal aliens..only for...i have seen one or two light sided letters against amnesty but mostly for illegals and amnesty. And of course if you disagree the mentality is your a racist and other name calling.

he is a columist and editoral board member of the San Diego union tribune who wrote an article appearing in my local issue of nj's courier news - "closet xenophobe hiding behind immigration issue" he spoke of a meeting of hispanic journalist in fla. of which both he and lou dobbs were on the panel, he told lou dobbs, he panders to racist and xenophobes and some of dobbs viewers are certifiable, he questions lou's coverage of immigration stories and segments of language and cultural issues covered together on his show, Ruben believes it's not appropriate and a contridiction. He questions lou's pro-legal immigration beliefs because he says lou freaks out at the thought of a possible path to legalization for 100 million more coming in and maybe it's because lou is worried about changes of language and culture to this country.He was quite critical of lou and his viewer's positions on illegal aliens He says there are words that discribe these sort of beliefs and they all end in "ism"

I Have sent a couple of letters to our papers Courier news and Star ledger'
but I can't get them in the paper...it seems that only those for the amnesty bill can or those who wish to chastize those against amnesty.I have sent about 15 tv stations a demand that they discuss the honest effect of illegal aliens on America....but I haven't seen anything honest yet... maybe a short flash about IMMIGRANTS...BUT that's it.This part of the country isn't as effected...so people aren't up in arms as they should be.NEW JERSEY state was shut down for 5 days because of a budget conflict....I suggested to about 5 of our legislators to stop allowing state benefits to illegals.it would save millions, NO... they put 80,000 workers instead out of work for 5 days,closed our casinos,stopped sales of lottery,closed state buildings and parks...losing us probably about 5 million dollars a day. I wrote the newspapers about this too...no opinion page for me...
