NILP gets CNN to remove link from Lou Dobbs site

    May 04, 2007

National Institute for Latino Policy gets CNN to remove link from Lou Dobbs site
Lou Dobb's CNN page used to have a link to Small Town Defenders, aka the City of Hazleton Legal Defense Fund. From this:

An advocacy group, the National Institute for Latino Policy, protested that Dobbs’ on-air advocacy was expanding to include an endorsement of raising money for an organization. After getting a letter from the group, CNN chief executive Jim Walton agreed to remove the link, CNN spokeswoman Christa Robinson said Friday.
The NILP was formerly affiliated with the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, one of the groups involved in suing... Hazleton.

CNN certainly has a right to add and remove links at will, and since the linked site solicits donations they might have journalistic concerns. On the other hand, they might want to consider having the balls to stand up to racial power groups.

It's amazing that these racist groups are allowed to use US TAX DOLLARS to fight against us on behalf of illegal aliens yet the minute they are challenged or feel threatened they scream foul.

They know our system better than we do. We have to correct this as well as dump pc... tactfully, of course.

Ive thought for a long time how odd it is that Lou Dobbs is even on CNN.
CNN is a bastion of liberal muck rakers.
Of course, FOX is slipping left of center also.

When are we going to scrape up some spine and counteract these trends?

Actually for many years Lou Dobbs was pretty much a stock market, financial analyst type for CNN. He reinvented himself as an anchor and it was not until he took on the cause of fighting illegal immigration and government corruption did his show begin to gain popularity and large audiences. That being said there is a lot of history between Lou and CNN and he's at the very top of their food chain. They let him do his thing so I doubt he will be going anywhere anytime soon.
