is there a solution to the illegal immigration problem?

I wonder if there is a solution to this problem (illegal immigration), does anyone have a solution?
I mean, what happens if, hypothetically, the US closes the borders 100%, what would Mexico do?
My father allways told me when teaching me how to play chess, before you make any move, think what would your oppenent do, or what is he up to?
Please , someone tell me, what would happen if sudddenly there was a super wall and ALL illegal immigrants were deported to Mexico.
What will happen to the US economy,? What would happen to the birth rate, how about national security.
Consider that Mexico's first source of income is oil, second is the money tat is sent by Mexicans working in the US.

Mexico would have to reduce corruption and racism to increas opportunities there for their own citizens.

What will happen to the US economy,?.
We would no longer be a debtor nation with a massive trade deficit, the dollar would strengthen.

What would happen to the birth rate, .
Probably increase some for Americans, since they would no longer be supporting millions of anchor babies so have more money for their own children.

    how about national security.
Don't you think have millions less foreign criminals in the US, and a more secure border against terrorists, would increase national security?

Like I said above, with reforms no reason the Mexican economy couldn't provide a better life for Mexican, in Mexico.

Yes deport deport deport ..we will be fine unless they all have a plan to take us over in case this happens...
I'm more scared with them living on my block than what will happen to us..Americans are strong willed people and when we are backed in the corner we will stand our ground. We work together look at 911 that alone shows you how we ban together.
I trust my fellow Americans and believe in our country and when push comes to shove they better watch out!!

    mmm...this is so complex....
Bowman, let me take you on your point about being less criminals and make America less safe...

Let's say, in 50 years there is no more oil in Mexico, Mexicans sent no money back.

Let's also isolate the variable of trade and assume that the US doesn't need Mexico, for any economical purposes.

    Let's focus on national security.

What happened when the Soviet Union placed its missiles in Cuba?

I think it was the beginning of the cold war wasn't it?

mmm... I'm wondering, what would keep Mexico from embracing the wrong crowd if the US neglects Mexico?

Not that the US has evern been driven by fear but have you heard about the Monroe doctrine? "America for the Americans"? It was all about national security.
I'm the most concerned about security. Who is more dangerous? How would you feel safer? I would feel safer if all those people that want to harm the US are kept very very far away...

    Any thoughts?

What do those Drug Cartels look like?Prayer Rugs in the Arizona dessert, The collapse of our economy.
America's got it's own problems serious problems and this is one of the biggest problems we have and I believe if we fix this problem the others will seem small by comparison.

The way the rest the world see us under this Admin. is unforgivable.
We all work together to make things work.
The rest of the world can't work together so nothing works.
It shouldn't be on us to fix all the world's problems that's what UN used to be for but now they're suing Arizona instead.

They all view us as hate mongers and racists, but the real truth is America can no longer shoulder this burden the rest of the world has placed upon us.

Yes there is... Give Immigrants more rights and improve farming technology. Now hold on before you press reply and start typing hear me out. Right now illegal immigrants specifically from mexico (at least 90% of illegals are from there) are working for horrible if not near slave wages and some are being kidnapped and held for ransom. No matter how much im against illegal immigration i still dont like to see this happen to anyone. SO, lets fight for illegals rights as workers but DO NOT give them citizenship (very important!). Give them some government protected rights to protect them. As we increase the standard of living for these immigrants we make it seem like its inhumane for them to do the jobs "Americans dont want to do". Now we replace these jobs with machines that can do the job faster, cheaper and more humane than any immigrant can. Now the illegal immigrant is OBSOLETE. We dont need them anymore so there is no excuse for them to be here now. After this we must pass strict immigration laws to deport all illegal immigrants because we have no more work for them and theyre basically useless now.

After the end of the civil war and slavery, the farming industry had no choice but to make serious technological advances to compensate for the lack of the free labor previously provided by slaves. Under the scenario I have stated above is basically the same situation.

    have fun with this one.

    Welcome to ALIPAC Skippiks .

I totally disagree with "Using Anyone" including Illegal Aliens. Most Americans are more angry with businesses who USE IA's to fill their pockets with gold while lowering citizens wages then with IA's.

I met a guy from Mexico who was here on a workers visa. He worked hard, saved his money and before he left to go home he bought a welding outfit. He was so happy and said when he returned to Mexico he would now be able to support his famly because he could get a good job welding.

I truely admired this guy and I would hope those who have been here working Illegally have saved their money too instead of spending it on things they really could live without. I hope they learned a trade or bought some land in Mexico so they can support themselves when they are forced to leave. If they did not do this then they are to blame NOT the USA !.

The Cuban missile crisis nearly started WWIII!! Only dumb luck and sober leaders prevented it. The Cold War started in 1947:

"January 1: President Harry Truman announces the Truman Doctrine. The Doctrine states that the USA will remain committed to "contain" further communist expansion. Truman cites the domino effect as a possibility.
April 16: Bernard Baruch, in a speech given during the unveiling of his portrait in the South Carolina House of Representatives, coins the term "Cold War" to describe relations between the United States and the Soviet Union."

I say Mexico is already run by the wrong crowd, notice how Argentina and Chile have a high standard of living and peace even though they do little trade with the USA and get no direct support from us. Mexico could be the same if they had more freedoms, education, and equal opportunity protected by law. The US could pressure or install Mexican leadership to provide this, if we didn't have leaders of our own who are almost as corrupt and immoral as the Mexican leaders!
