Thought for today
One of the ironies of this election is that it is the Republicans in the House of Representatives who seem most likely to pay the biggest price for the disaffection of Republican voters -- when in fact it was the House Republicans who stopped both the Senate Republicans and the White House from making mass amnesty the law of the land.

UB, you are right. If it hadn't been for the Reps in the House, we would already have our next amnesty.
I am a Rep and I am dissappointed w/ them. I don't think they will lose total power this election season, but I think it will be very tight.
If this election season is as tight as I'm hoping it will be, maybe it will scare these jokers into finally doing what WE want for a change. I'm always hoping anyway."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

Yes I know the voters are angry at Bush and instead they are taking it out on the very people who stood up to him and the Democratic Senators
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I don't believe much of the MSM frenzy to create a herd stampede by putting Dems out in front. If anything it shows how extremely desperate they are. Anger will be poor company in that voting booth in what may be the last United States election.
