Let us be gracious in victory...
just as we would have been in defeat. It is time we celebrate our hard fought victory because we did fight very, very hard. I'm exhausted as I'm sure all of my fellow ALIPAC'ers are. Just a thought to pass on lest we celebrate too hard or shout too loud. Let us be gracious to all our opponents in this victory we have achieved. Just as a loss would have steeled our resolve to fight on, perhaps even harder for our cause, our opponents likely will fight on, even harder. Let us be gracious in our communications and actions and if any venom comes from the process just decided in the senate, let it come from our opponents and not us. We now have momentum on our side, let us not squander it by something misguided that we may say or do. Remember, how each of us conduct ourselves reflects on our organization. So, let's make sure we are on the high road...and not take the low road as I even see emanating already from a few of the bitter defeated Senator's in their talks on the outcome of the cloture vote. We are again being characterized as racist, obstructionists, xenophobes, and spreaders of fear. That's OK, let them go and continue with trying to paint us as such because we will never stoop so low as to be what they try to paint us as. Hold your head high, be gracious yet firm, and don't hurl insults or diatribe like we have already begun to see from those that weren't successful in their cause. Don't get dragged into angry exchanges and if ethnocentric groups want to angrily march and confront and scream and shout, that will only strengthen our position. They will never understand our cause and we will never accept theirs.
I am truly moved at how hard everyone has worked and how knowledgeable on the issue everyone is. Remember, those that have been defeated will be working hard to defeat the senators who they identify as against their cause so we will have to work even harder to ensure the senators that support our position remain in office.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Sorry zeezil...but if the "game" had been played fairly, then I would, of course, be gracious in our victory. HOWEVER...the pro-amnesty liars played dirty, and I want to shove their defeat down their throats!
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

Zeezil, you are SOOOOOOOO RIGHT!!!!!!!!
We need to put our best foot forward at all times especially in victory.
We could be sitting here crying or hearts out tonight if it were not for the Senators who stood by us.
We owe it to them, and to our entire country to accept our victory as graciously as possible.
We are a little excited (I know I am), but I even deleted a post I made because, I said to myself that it is not the way I want to represent myself, ALIPAC or fellow Americans.
I agree with you. Thank you.
For starters I'm going to bring myself down a few notches.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I agree but I'm not too sure how gracious I would have been if we lost

I have no desire to do anything but move forward. There are so many issues we must use our energy toward.
Birthright Citizenship, Employer Enforcement, Ending Benefits without legal status or Citizenship, Border Security, Builiding the Fence, ending Sanctuary cities and counties, requiring all law enforcement to carry out Immigration Enforcement, allow the IRS and the Social Security Adminstration to share information, to update the Basic Pilot Program, to pressure local and state officials to begin to enforce the law and to start checking status, for state legislatures to enact more legislation to verify legal status and eliminate benefits, and on we will go. No to the NAU and the SPP, protect our sovereignty.
We are going to be busy.
We have the wind at our back for now. We need to keep getting the message out to others.
Ephesians 4:32Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

We need to fight on and elect good people to office and throw the bums out who have showed us that they are traitors to this great country!

Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

It is normal to feel jubilant immediately following a victory. However, we have only won this battle. There are many more battles ahead. We simply cannot afford to become complacent.
Today, I'm feeling pretty good. Tomorrow, I resume the fight.
