Trip to S.D., Border Patrol out in force
I usually make a trip between Northern and Southern California every 3 months to get my grandmother fix. This trip was to pick up my grandkids to vacation with me.
Friday traveling down I-5 I passed a National Guard caravan. I stopped at my normal food and gas stop just before going over the Grapevine and was surprised at the commotion going on as I watched two agents walk out of a restaurant and head for a huge bus.
Monday as I was returning on I-15 North, we started spotting white cars with a hugh green emblem painted on them parked at sponts along side the highway watching traffic. As we got to the top of a grade at what I guess is the Border Patrol checkpoint we realized they were BP cars. The checkpoint was full of these vehicles with a lot of Border Patrol agents standing around.
I am not sure what is going on, but I have never seen this many Border Patrol agents on our roads.

I am glad California is picking up the activity. We just made a trip to the Rio Grande Valley and saw very little Border Patrol activity. Much less than when were were there last December.

Sounds to me like they (BP) are getting ready for (and maybe already experiencing) the illegal alien exodus from Arizona.
As far as the National Guard goes... hmmm....As Aristotle said, “Tolerance and apathy are the first virtue of a dying civilization.â€

To bad road block check points are not setup at every major route out of AZ except South Bound Roads.
Talk about easy pickins with the AZ IA exodus.Cut them off from going to any other state in our nation."A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson

Interesting
If there are a mass exodus from AZ then where are they going to. If they are illegal aliens in AZ then they are illegal in every state. This is why I say that once a state does something to combat the illegal activity then other states will follow. Texas should be drawing up their plans right now as well as California and the rest of the U.S. Hundreds and hundreds of millions could be saved every year to be put to good use for border patrolling and programs for CITIZENS! This is something that should have been addressed 20 or 30 years ago. Now it has proven much more difficult to deploy but that doesn't say the support is not there. Go AZ go!
