    Tom Tancredo Controversy again?

I live in Colorado and several years ago there was a big ruckous over an illegal immigrant named Jesus who had studied in Colorado's High Schools
and he wanted that in state tuition. Congressman Tancredo spoke publicly saying the 18 year should have been deported and rightfully so!
He and the family went into hiding!

If you go the "News stories from Alipac members and click on "Denver Feel Good Story" you can find the link, 3 or 4th post down, and you can read the story and ask yourself if she is or was illegal when she entered this country?

I am not an immigration lawyer but how does a 17 year old enter the country and attend Costa Mesa High School as a legal immigrant when she is from a small town where she has 15 brothers and sisters and Dad is dead and Mom still lives there?

You cannot get a VISA to study in high school can you? So, if she entered illegally and came to Colorado where the article says she applied for residency, what LEGAL VISA and right did she have to be here? She would have had to go back to Mexico would she not have to start any visa process? Did she?

Tom Tancredo should be asking questions and I will call his office. I may not have all the facts BUT that article implies ILLEGALITY and as I have said, if she ws given a FULL scholarship and she is illegally I am quite certain State Law was violated. What do you all think?

    Jack,

Illegal aliens are admited to High Schools throughout the US at taxpayer expense no questions asked. A court case in 1981 (Pyler Vs. Texas) established that rule as federal law. It was on this federal law that a lone judge struck down California's Prop. 187 initiative.

Our high schools are full of illegal alien children.
