Tomorrow is another day...
We will just work harder tomorrow....I believe numbersusa.com is going to post info tonight. Said we need to contact Boehner and Cantor to chide them for not coming to the floor to represent us like Pelosi & Hoyer. I will call McConnell tomorrow & ask him to please try to hold the senate together.
Pray hard tonight.....

I was wondering why Boehner and Cantor weren't there. I was hoping Boehner would be the last speaker for the GOP side as he was for the disaster of an illegal alien and union Obamacare bill.......Numbers USA gave Boehner a "C" rating on illegal immigration.....Could that be why we were treated to the "ghost" of Boehner instead of his physical presence?

I am concerned that the tax cut extensions may have swayed some votes towards a YES vote on the DREAM Act.

It may be dead on arrival for now, but my antenna tells me the Republicans appear to be willing to 'work' with a Dream Act bill a little later, under the right conditions.
In other words, the Republicans are going to end up compromising anyway.....so why in the he// am I (speaking just for myself) knocking myself out over this.
Any compromise is the same thing as a form of amnesty! Plain and simple!
How in the end, are the Republicans going to end up treating a path to citizenship for illegal alien young people?Ron Paul in 2011 "[...]no amnesty should be granted. Maybe a 'green card' with an asterisk should be issued[...]a much better option than deportation."
