    Look at the Gadsden purchase

    Sorry about the spelling. But after the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo "the basis of the claim that the land was stolen" they sold us the bottom portion for 15 million. It is a weak claim to say you stole the land and then we sold you the rest. If you "stole" my computer I would not sell you the printer.

    In many real estate contracts, in Texas, I know, there is a clause that lists property being conveyed as 'so many acres more or less and under fence'. Not sure that is the correct terminology, but you get the point.

    So let's tell the Mexicans we have America under fence and have had for some time - so argument closed.
