Thread: Trump calls for deporting illegal immigrants with 'no judges or court cases'

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Sunday that people who enter the United States illegally should be sent back to where they came from immediately without any judicial process.

Facing a public outcry and pressure even from within his Republican Party, Trump last week reversed his policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the border so the adults could be detained and prosecuted, a process that typically takes months.

Since buckling on the issue on Wednesday, Trump has redoubled his criticism of U.S. immigration laws on Twitter and in speeches where he likened illegal immigrants to invaders trying to “break into” the country.

“We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order. Most children come without parents,” Trump said Sunday on Twitter.

“Cannot accept all of the people trying to break into our Country. Strong Borders, No Crime!”

Trump did not differentiate between people who entered the United States to seek asylum and illegal immigrants.

U.S. immigration law provides certain rights for undocumented immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In most cases, they are allowed a full hearing before an immigration judge before being deported.

....Our Immigration policy, laughed at all over the world, is very unfair to all of those people who have gone through the system legally and are waiting on line for years! Immigration must be based on merit - we need people who will help to Make America Great Again!

Sounds good to me. We just need to get their fingerprints before we send them back so we can charge them with a felony the next time they try it.

Taxpayer should NOT be providing lawyers for illegal aliens.

Get this passed...no papers, no rights, no entry.

No showing up at our Ports of Entry to file for asylum or any visa. That is the job for the Consulate on THEIR soil.

This will stop the human trafficking, stop them travelling all this way and SAVE us the cost of deporting them if their claims are denied.

Also, they MUST have a full medical examination with NO diseases or health issues. We do not want to pay for their healthcare, TB, AIDS, dialysis, diabetes, surgeries...NONE of it!

If they have no document allowing them in the country, they have no right to a hearing. Fingerprint them and deport them immediately. This should be entirely a Border Patrol action!

President Trump should 1. Pick up the phone and call the Pentagon heads over and tell them he wants real troops on our border immediately with the entire border secured coast to gulf within 30 days!

2. Announce to America that there is about to be an illegal immigration crackdown of historic perportions and all illegal aliens should exit the country now of their own accord and will be allowed to leave via designated checkpoints without penalty.

3. Tell the illegals that after 30 days we are going to sieze their assets and bank accounts to reiumburse the American taxpayers for having to come get them to remove.

4. Take all illegals caught at the border quickly to a most fortified border crossing that would cost them maximum time and energy to reenter and place them back on Mexican soil within 24 hours of arrival. Give the illegals a medical check, water, and some bologna sandwiches but no electronic devices, smoking, or leaving the cel or vehicle is allowed until they are walking back the way they came!

This is what the current laws of the United States allow and encourage. This is what Article 4 of the US Constitution requires.

5. End birthright citizenship immediately. Give them a "Certificate of Child Born Abroad". Those anchor babies ARE citizens of the mothers country...their law States this and it is precedent over our laws.

6. Terminate ALL taxpayer funded benefits including school and medical care. Those benefits are reserved for US citizens and those here legally. Illegal aliens CANNOT accept any benefits on behalf of a legal US citizen, whether that citizen is a minor or otherwise. No more rewarding those who break our laws.

7. Deem all Drivers Licenses null & void. No more aiding and abetting with bank accounts, bank loans, housing or jobs.

I think that would be a time consuming proposition. Since it is law, I don't think President Trump can override it with an Executive Order.

The quickest solution I can think of is a court challenge of the meaning of the 14th Amendment. Clarifying whether it applies to all persons born on U.S. soil, or the limited number of person it was designed to cover.

Another solution would be a new law from Congress. But that would probably be challenged in court which would take years.

The slowest solution is a new Amendment to replace the 14th Amendment.
