Trump cited for flying Big US Flag in Palm Beach .

Donald Trump's display of patriotism is too flamboyant for chic Palm Beach .
City officials cited Trump for hoisting a large American flag atop an 80-foot pole at his Mar-a-Lago estate and club .

Town officials said Trump has violated zoning codes with a flagpole taller than 42 feet and by erecting it Oct.3 without a building permit and permission from the landmarks board . Trump has until Nov.27 to apply for approvals or face a Dec.21 code enforcement hearing that could result in $250-a-day fines .

" You don't need a permit to put up the American flag ," Trump saqid Tuesday .
" The day you need a permit to put up the American flag , that will be a sad day for this country ."
Lee Hanley , vice chairman of the town's landmarks commission , has said the 15-by-25 -foot flag makes the town look like " we have an Okeechobee car dealer , " referring to a strip of auto dealerships along Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach .

This isn't the first post we've seen that Donald steps up for our country. He is big biz but on the right side of the fence.

Well then that day was a sad one for him. Maybe DT ought to start funneling all that money into something more worth while than his stupid reality TV show for a change.

I think he should donate a million dollars to ALIPAC and any organization against illegal immigration, but that's just me.

He could donate some of that money he is making off poor people charging them $99/each to learn how to get rich which we all know is a total scam.

Sorry guys but Donald Trump is two sided. Check out who is building his projects in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale and Sunny Isles. To put it nicely, they don't speak English on the job site. I would like to see those projects raided but then we will hear the same bull about them. The Donald did not know about it as someone else was responsible for hiring sub contractors.

The Donald can always contribute to Alipac.

I love it Jimpasz. Many of the millionaires have illegals working for them. I know of one CEO who may now be at TYCO who had an illegal Eastern European woman take care of his ill mother. When his child was ill with cancer, she took care of this girl and her sister. I met this CEO personally when the family came to Florida for a vacation and visited their former healthcare aide. The former healthcare aide married my ex father-in-law to get her greencard thereby comfirming her having been illegal.
